Aufwuchs
About a year and a half ago, I sold my Forte II's to a member of the Klipsch forum. I don't have a lot of extra storage space and can't keep lots of speakers like some of you guys. In the time since then, I have had EV Aristocrats, JBL C36's and C38's, Yamaha NS-1000's, Mirage M-7si (with SS amp instead of my tube amp), and JBL L100's in my main system. All of these are excellent speakers and were mostly taken out of rotation for the fun of trying something new. Anyway, today I saw a posting on the local craigslist for a pair of Forte II's and went and picked them up since I have regreted selling my original pair and because it was a super deal. They are in mint condition, and are walnut instead of the oiled oak of my old ones. This is the first time I have ever purchased a pair of speakers that I had previously owned, but the minute I hooked them up it was like going home again...ahh familiar sounds. Its nice to have a second chance to audition them! They really are a great pairing with my Fisher tube amp.
