Full circle back to Klipsch

About a year and a half ago, I sold my Forte II's to a member of the Klipsch forum. I don't have a lot of extra storage space and can't keep lots of speakers like some of you guys. In the time since then, I have had EV Aristocrats, JBL C36's and C38's, Yamaha NS-1000's, Mirage M-7si (with SS amp instead of my tube amp), and JBL L100's in my main system. All of these are excellent speakers and were mostly taken out of rotation for the fun of trying something new.

Anyway, today I saw a posting on the local craigslist for a pair of Forte II's and went and picked them up since I have regreted selling my original pair and because it was a super deal. They are in mint condition, and are walnut instead of the oiled oak of my old ones. This is the first time I have ever purchased a pair of speakers that I had previously owned, but the minute I hooked them up it was like going home again...ahh familiar sounds. Its nice to have a second chance to audition them! They really are a great pairing with my Fisher tube amp.

The awesome sound of klipsch does get under your skin........Glad your story has a happy ending....I don't think I could ever part with any of my klipsch

I do kinda regret selling off my Mcintosh tube gear years ago....may have to pick up another MC275 one of these days....but I am kinda grooving on SS

anyway.....welcome back to the fold.....I like walnut myself.

Probably broke your mother's heart when you sold those Forte's:

Will the circle be unbroken
By and by, lord, by and by
Theres a better home a-waiting
In the sky, lord, in the sky

Oh, I followed close behind her
Tried to hold up and be brave
But I could not hide my sorrow
When they laid her in the grave

Will the circle be unbroken
By and by, lord, by and by
Theres a better home a-waiting
In the sky, lord, in the sky

I went back home, my home was lonesome
Missed my mother, she was gone
All of my brothers, sisters crying
What a home so sad and lone

Will the circle be unbroken
By and by, lord, by and by
Theres a better home a-waiting
In the sky, lord, in the sky

We sang the songs of childhood
Hymns of faith that made us strong
Ones that mother maybelle taught us
Hear the angels sing along

Will the circle be unbroken
By and by, lord, by and by
Theres a better home a-waiting
In the sky, lord, in the sky

Will the circle be unbroken
By and by, lord, by and by
Theres a better home a-waiting
In the sky, lord, in the sky
