demi klf
I am in the process of relocating my home theatre setup to a different room. My original home theatre was 12 x 18 feet.... My new home theatre room is 24 x 14 feet.... I am wondering if adding another klipsch rw 12d will make a noticeable difference in the new room. Also, do I need any line drivers to up the voltage since I'm splitting my one sub out to two subs? Is anyone using 2 subwoofers on a denon 3805 amp? Thanks
tommyboy
You would definitely notice a difference........ especialy in a room that small. Just make sure you put them in teh right spot!
Eskimo1
14x24 is not what I'd consider a small room, but... Absolutely. You have almost doubled your area, you'll need more cowbell..er..subwoofer!
falcon20x
You got to have something to support that center channel. More is always better, isn't it?
CECAA850
No line drivers will be necessary.
IndyKlipschFan
You have front firing subs.. So are mine... My 2 cents??? Put em both up front.. next to the front left n right side speakers..butjust inside them to the center.. Experiement and see if this works for you too. IMO, you will enjoy it. My "real room" dimensions are 17' wide.. by 30' front to back.(My split La Scala speakers are hidden behind audio scrim cloth.) I needed 2 subs... I feel u do too. The results are awesome. In this pic, it is before insulatiuon, and before toe-ing in the sides....
tommyboy
Oh, my fault, I thought the room was 14 * 14.............. not 24. But you'll still notice a diff.
HudsonValleyNoah
In my RF HT I added a second sub (RSW-12) and the improvement was so great that I thought it was all about that new RWS-12. So I disconnected the Synergy SUB-12 and got quite a shock. Both subs were needed to properly support the room. Removing either one dropped the Shock and Awe factor by quite a bit. GET THAT SECOND SUB! Noah
