  1. Those are the dreaded Gucci Bees. Extremely vain and aggressive.
  2. Thanks for the reminder..... backing up my files now.
  3. Had a special day today, got to meet Cletus the contractor who turned my 30 min. prepour inspection into 2 hours. I had special thought for him......
  4. WD40 and a lighter, must be done at night. Works like a charm, and easy peasy, unless your 20 ft up on a ladder.
  5. I don't fk around when I'm the "SELLER", life's too short to be dickering for peanuts..... I set the price, and that's it. If it sells great, if it doesn't, great. Win-Win If I like you, I'll probably give it away.
  6. Nothing surprising, except that it's coming from an apparent non-political source..... virologist (Dr. Li-Meng Yan) defected from China. https://video.foxnews.com/v/6170706702001#sp=show-clips
  7. Rustoleum's Rust Reformer or Reform something like that..... worked pretty good on an old beat-up old rail buggy. Just break heavy scale rust loose and paint it. The stuff is wicked good.
  8. Texas is now surrounded by states that have legalized for medicinal use. Texas should fall next.
  9. You know I do big boy..... See you posting that kinda garbage all the time.
  10. That's what I like about the Big Joe III and Kamado Joe grills in general. Will check out a Primo, thx.
  11. Yea, but you can use it as a weapon too.
  12. Samsung is king. Some years ago my daughters would laugh at me for using an antiquated startac, so I bought an iPhone, their 3 version I believe. That phone was a big change, but it was also turned into a piece of crap after a couple years, then it stopped working. Since I didn't pay for the insurance, I had to by another.... that phone lasted 1 yr. before the microphone stopped working. I researched the crap out all the phones and bought a Samsung Note 4..... Currently use Note 8, but only because I dropped the Note 4 off a building by mistake. Fast forward 7 or 8 yrs...... both my daughter's want to get rid of their iphones and get Samsung. The video and photo quality of the Samsung trump the iphone (any version) all day long, plus you can add a micro SD card for increased storage. The phone it's self is top notch, hands down, Samsung Galaxy or Note are superior to apples iphone.... just my 2 cents worth.
  13. $10k/month pension, then there's health Ins. and Dental, etc. Not bad at all, only tax dollars can buy that kind of pension.
  14. Yea, but it's only the losers and laughingstocks, jokes and whack jobs who think so.... So, no big deal. Just another day.
  15. Tired of thinking about it, and didn't want to spend a almost a grand to fix my good ole Hasty Bake. Been drooling over a Kamado Joe ceramic cooker. Big Joe III. Anybody got one or a Big Green Egg or similar?
  16. That's good stuff...... I use that exact fertilizer on my lawn which consist of some bermuda (can't kill it) and mostly zoisia (aka Emerald Zoisia or King Ranch turf). It will not kill the bermuda, but will eradicate weeds, clover, dandy lions, dollar weed, etc.. The zoisia loves it and thrives on this Scots Southern blend. Whatever you do, don't apply the fertilizer to wet grass (☹️) or wet plants, the area must be dry...... you should water afterwards. I started using Scots Southern Fert. about 3 or 4 yrs ago and the lawn has thickened up considerably, won't allow weeds or crab grass to take root.
  17. That would be a marijuana field.
  18. That's good mule deer country.
  19. Interesting topic, been thinking same for about a year now. Was thinking once the youngest leaves the coop we'd down size the house but stay within 100 mi. of where we currently are, but we'd like to get investigate cost and options for a 2nd home beach get-away..... wife wants Maui, but my preference is someplace in the Caribbean; Virgin Gorda, Belize???
  20. The eastern half of Oregon would be the flip side, but pretty remote.
  21. Went once to the annual Rattle Snake Roundup in Freer Texas, it's something most locals from neighboring counties experience at least once. At the fair you could buy it every conceivable, for me, it was either 2" wide meaty chunks section along the length, deep fried...... or de-boned meat pieces in a good ole Mexican style guisado (stewed, with onion, garlic, comino, oregano and potato). It's a tough job, but someone's got to do it.
  22. I thought we had big'ens here in South Texas, until I lived in Florida; Florida rattlers make our look like baby's. Approx. 12 ft'er at Choke Canyon Lake, about 60 mi. south of San Antonio. 14' is biggest known to come out of there.
  23. Sounds like a good time to me...... kick back with some cigars and a nice single malt and watch the action.
