the ext in sub level control is for an external source...for example...some dvd players have both digital optical and six analog outputs(left, right, center, rears and sub)...if you decide to connect all six to your receivers ext inputs instead of using the digital optical....then you can use the ext in sub level to fine tune the sub...i hope this helps...and if im wrong..someone please correct me....thanks.. edit: sivadselim already answered the question...i was too slow...

i would say go with the rw12....and if your budget allows...maybe a rsw10....and if youre a basshead with a higher budget...the rsw12/15....

Thanks for any help or advice! ---------------- welcome.....i think you should go with the matching speakers as you mentioned above..the rf35s, rs35s will go well with the rw12 and your center...but play around with the rb35 and rs35...buy both and try them out....some like the a direct surround sound...some (including me) like the non direct surround speakers.....its all personal preference....

i agree with sunnysal about the feedback your getting... ive been a klipsch fan as far as i can remember....passed down from my dad whos still rockin his kg 5.2s till this day....but i have to say that ive tried/experimented with other brands but the sound of klipsch is for me...
