  1. Walking down side streets you would see alot of this type of gardens. People would have a small area in front of their house or apt and would make beautiful gardens.
  2. Outside the restaurant window in our hotel.
  3. Some more of Gardens in Kyoto and Takayama. Imperial palace garden.
  4. Went to one shrine/garden that had lots of Bamboo growing and used in the garden. This was outside the shrine/garden fence.
  5. This is a close up of the previous pic and have it as my desktop pic.
  6. It is also one of mine. I have a Crimson Queen and a Bloodgood. Some pics of Crimson Queens from when I was in Japan. They really know how to do gardens!!
  7. I told them to take me off their list. Worked for about a week and a half and got another then have not gotten any.
  8. I was agreeing with his "I got to thinking that even though my main system was very very good, there were fewer and fewer CDs that sounded good enough to play on it. I decided to make a big change."
  9. I noticed the same thing when I went from La Scalas to Fortes. I find I enjoy more music now with the Fortes than I did with the LS. About 20% of my cds sounded better on the La Scalas cause they were very good recordings but 60% sounded okay and 20% sounded bad. The LS are so revealing of bad recordings that it was frustrating and the okay cds were just that okay. With the very good cds I could sit back and just enjoy the music. The okay cds I was never able to just enjoy the music cause I wanted them to sound like the very good cds so they were more low level background music. A lot more cds sound much better on the Fortes than on the La Scalas. Now the very good cds sounded better on the LS. Now many of my okay cds sound much closer to the very good recordings so now I can just enjoy the music more. I think Cornwalls and Chorus also do this. KHorns and La Scalas with the right equipment and very good recordings sounds outstanding.
  10. I've seen pics of that done with a La Scala. I have a single La Scala that I use for center channel that I bought off Ebay. It was seriously beat up so I did not mind cutting off the top section and put that under the tv with the bass bin turned on it's side next to it. Works great. My bass bin is not like in the pic but turned on it's side, on the right side of the HF section with a 50 inch tv on top and a grill cover.
  11. My first Klipsch speakers were Heresys and are great speakers and I own Fortes now which are even better. If you have room for the Fortes I would get them instead of the Heresys.
  12. looks like JBL's version of the Jubilee.
  13. They might sue me over my avatar pic
  14. I agree!! I used a TS Ground Grid tube preamp with your Moondogs that sounded outstanding! [Y]

    I'm hooked

My A/V receiver does not have HDMI and I had 5.1 surround sound with the PS3 that I sold you so it should have a optical out but not coax. Now the latest versions of the PS3 may only have HDMI.
  17. I hate to hear about these types of criminals preying on people!! Next time it happens to me I'm saying no thanks walking away and calling the cops to find out if there is anything they can do. I hate to say it but I don't think the cops will be able to do anything unless they are in the parking lot but I may be wrong. I think you did the right thing leaving him happy in his ignorance much better than upsetting him.
  18. What about Fortes or Fortes II ? I think they are around 98 and 99 Db they may work.

  20. I had the KLF 20s, C7 cneter channel and a pair of Klipsch SB-3s for my rears which worked great.
