Since you are starting from scratch might I recommend you first buy the tweeters from Bob, then sell the K400/401 squawker horns and get a set of Fastrac's from GotHover, then get a set of Al's Universal networks. When you build your cabinet make sure you brace the bass bin.

Those 2 set of binding posts are for bi-wiring not bi-amping.

I really wish Klipsch would release a new version of the C3's. I loved the sound and unfortunately the nozzle on the left side just broke [:'(]. I am considering a set of the new Image One's but would love to see a resurrection of the C3 IEM's with different cabling.

I've had my 84 LS since I bought them in 84. Having built and installed ALK kits inplace of AL's, Crites Tweeters and changed out sqawkers (Altec 511B). I'd say it is a toss up both the crossover and Sqawker change out have the most dramatic effect. If I were doing things over from scratch I'd probalby opt to go active and install K510/K69 in the LS top. Then go from there. I'll likely go that route at some point. As for the Bass Reflex mod I'll probalby opt to integrate a sub. I've heard the LS with the KW120's and KA1000 and it is a match made in heaven IMO.
