  1. i forgot to say fed-ex would only deliver my cornwalls, in their oringal boxes, to a business address. there is a company called The Box Place by my house that lets me have them delivered to them for a dollar a box. can't beat that.

  3. i never owned them but i know they made 2's,3's,4's and even 5's all in XO models that stood for xtra output. model F's were popular. prices start at a couple hundred for 2's and go up. check ebay completed items.

  5. 84-89 start with the year of manufacture. so i would say right
  6. I knew what you meant Dean, i was just bored and wanted to have a little fun. the last 2 sets of corns went for 499 and 599 so 800 sounds like a lot of money to everyone. if you can pick them up without shipping charges it might not be to bad. O by the way, you can exit foot and close mouth.

  8. he has one of the K-33's for sale on another auction at a starting price of 100 dollars. #5740878253
  9. Michael, these same speakers were for sale a month ago. i posted a thread here about what is really behind the tweeter section. that is not a K-77. beware
  10. Congrats to Forum member SoundBroker on scoring the Cornwalls in Florida. Buy It Now means exactly that, ask questions later. i would't have any of my speakers if i waited even one minute later than i did. triceratops and I did our jobs by posting these here in hopes that a Forum member could score these and it worked. enjoy!!!
  11. Chris, welcome to the forum. the T is 1979 and the C-BR stands for Cornwall - Birch Raw. prices usually start around 500 and up depending on condition. pictures would tell the real value. this is a great place to sell them. good luck

  16. have you checked inside them to see if they have the same drivers.
  17. shipping K-horns across country is gonna cost at least 500 dollars. i had my cornwalls shipped to me on a skid by Yellow Freight from east coast to ohio for 250 packing and shipping. no damage. i would try to buy local and save on shipping and damage. good luck on what ever you decide to do. If you are lucky enough to buy k-horns and have 2 good corners to put them in, the year doesn't matter.
  18. #5739525598 BIN 450 dollars on ebay in the S.F. Bay area. no pictures
  19. let me be the first to say those are sweet. i just bought the same year, 72 verticals last week in mahogany raw. 3 hour round trip. good luck
  20. Congrats, oak and cane, stunning
  21. ---------------- On 12/18/2004 8:39:21 AM staged2 wrote: Looking for the Vault-need to ship Cornwall speakers from Greensboro, NC to Chicago, IL email me @ staged2@comcast.net ---------------- using the vault is now expensive and a big hassle for the person that has the vault. last time i talked to him he said it was a 4 to 5 hour round trip to deliver the vault to the nearest forward air station. then send it to the seller who has to pick it up and then ship it out to the buyer who then has to keep the vault. type in Forward Air at the top of the page and see a couple of threads about how their prices have doubled. talk to the seller and see if he can get boxes big enough to fit with 2 inches of styrofoam all the way around, top and bottom. i just had mine delivered by fed-ex. expect to pay up to 250 dollars for packing and shipping. you will be fine without the vault. also had a set delivered on a skid by yellow freight. both sets came undamaged. good luck. no disrespect to the builder or the holder of the vault. where ever it is today.
  22. Ki, if you don't want this i would e-mail the seller and ask him if you can retract your bid. tell him you didn't read the whole description, hopefully he will understand and not leave a negative feedback if you wait and tell him at the end of the auction. i will help you if you do want and win the auction.
