Dont consider it... do it. The XO is where a good portion of the music can lie IF left unexposed. One word of advice is, do not skimp on quality parts... do you want OEM replacements or do you want to hear angels trumpets and devil trombones? YOU ARE INVITED!

I do like the way the wiring is routed... I think ALL WIRING should be routed as such. AEROSPACE style. I know it takes much more time, but it really is the proper way to do things.

It's about 13.5-14 feet to LP and I am SLIGHTLY off axis as speakers are pointed to just behind LP. not sure if 13-14' constitutes slightly bigger than near field for a speaker as big as the CW, but sometimes it feels like that. I played with placement a bunch, and it seemed as though slightly off the wall produced more spatial qualities... not cleaner sound or better imaging, but more space. they are still fairly close to the walls though... 5" on the toe and about 9" on the heel. I am probably looking at alternatives I don't need, because truth be known... after the upgrade, it was the first time I have ever felt that I was even close to "done".

I waited for the lulz... but all saw was a guy with horrid mainstream musical taste. Where was the Bass response?

I just got a couple of these disks at the swap meet ( no box and not complete)... I was wondering how the recordings are they different than the original releases?

wow... for some reason I find that to be an amazing price for a new manufactured speaker of such performance
