  2. Thats the one I'm thinking ofnas well. I blasted that song through Kevin's 60p system at Rodney's two years ago In partial satisfaction of the OP's onerous demands and conditions precedent.

  5. Really? Was morale down and went up? I would have thought it would have been Smokey and the Bandit or Saturday Night Fever. I thought Close Encounters was a better movie than Star Wars, but Starn Wars obviously had much wider appeal.
  6. Yeah, unfortunately you derailed it yourself. I was so optomistic.
  7. It probably isn't any big deal. "However, a 28 June 2017 editorial by two Alameda County Public Health Department officials argued that intentional exposure to the virus is rare. J. Phoenix Smith (interim head of the department’s HIV care unit) and Nicholas J. Moss (director of its HIV STD Section) wrote:

I thought having more points than your opponent at the end wins games. I'm only kidding. Washington State adv. USC last week was a good example of what you are saying, except it would be "coaching, passing and tackling." The "let down" is always looming out there.
  9. 2 Std deviations. Brought me back to my statistics class.
  10. Signs, signs, signs, everywhere is signs. Alerts! Want to alert forum members to sales you are not affiliated with on eBay, Craigslist, etc? Post in here.
  11. That is very solid advice in my experience. There is just no way those guys can keep up with updating their websites to keep up. The stuff just doesn't sit around for long. Travis
  12. You didn't cause any, that happens on it's on around here. Was it a full moon last night? It is your post and you have every right to keep it on track. I like your high road approach. You keep asking away, and keep us all updated on how you are going to proceed and what you end up with. I did the exact same thing you did, but about 15 years ago and with a vintage McIntosh preamp. Found one in great condition,I had it restored and got many, many great years of enjoyment out of it. It was a very fun and educational process. I'm glad I went that route to get into tube equipment. From there, when I "upgraded" along the way I knew what I preferred, what to listen for etcl. Most importantly it helped me understand what I could hear, and couldn't here, in other equipment and whether it was worth the price. Once you get that integrated you can then start switching out tube brands and see if you can tell the difference between brand X and Y, and if you can, is it worth the cost. If you love the sound the way it is you are golden, if it leads you to want to explore other stuff, that's a great journey too. Glad you posted, sorry there was a little off topic diversion, but glad to see the usual great advice and suggestions.
  13. Completely agree, as well as Great Pyrenees (almost same dog, different color). I have had both, but be ready to be raking hair. In some states insurance companies are allowed to exclude certain breeds. Rotties are usually on that list, but Pit Bulls are at the top. https://www.livescience.com/27145-are-pit-bulls-dangerous.html
  14. How much do the announcers play in whether someone tunes into a game or not? Does anybody remember that game in 80s where they had NO announcers and got higher ratings?
  15. My sister is in pediatrics. They did find one source for whooping cough, Disneyland.
  16. The Commission Report verified there were 6,000 regular army and 6,000 Illinois Natl. Guard. The 12,000 federal troups were in addition to the 12,000 officers at Chicago Police Department had available.
