  1. I'd never buy a house without a garage. Ideally I'd have a garage AND seperate work/project area. Currently my garage serves both purposes. It's not ideal but it's workable. I agree with Jeff about "stuff" though. It grows at an alarming rate.
  2. Doesn't the "VT" in VTF stand for variable tune? If so, how is it considered sealed? Just curious (and gave you a bump!).
  3. Just pull the drivers and bubble wrap them seperate, they'll ship fine.
  4. I would think that if it had at least the same ga or smaller (larger wire) than the stock cord it would be fine. Does the owners manual caution against it?
  5. He must have been really drunk not to wake up to THAT.
  6. Just curious if I needed to bring a van that would hold a couple speakers and a sub.
  7. Welcome to the forum! If you could find some used Heresy's, your search would be over.
  8. Good(s?). I thought all I had up there is one amp? Kinda like it doncha[6]?
  9. Seems the barn door was closed after the horse was out. I enjoyed the back and forth. Didn't think any toes were stepped on. Guess I wouldn't be a good moderator.
  10. Ummmm, he was asking about the BFM sub, or so I thought.
  11. That is the plan. I put the RC-7, then RC-64 on the original list above. It's the main speakers and placement of them that I'm still undecided on. They obviously like symmetry. 3 RC-7's or RC-64's in the top 3 holes would be ideal. You're not going to get anything decent to keep up with the center in those little spots on the side. DUH, looks like I quoted bhendrix....LOL. Good idea Bill!

  13. Have him put the center above the TV angled down. He can fit a decent sized one there to anchor his front sound stage.
  14. I've always wanted to hear (feel) a rotary sub. I have the perfect room to put one in but the cost of admission is a little too steep for me. I'll suffer with my IB for now. I'd MUCH rather have that setup than the one this thread was started about. What sub does he use with his fan?
  15. I have mine in a cabinet type area. I put acoustic deadening material behind it and on the sides to pick up any reflection from the port. Works perfectly, no echo and is very detailed.
  16. It's a great sub, but for similar performance, the Cinema F-20 is much easier to build.
  17. Ahhhh common ground. They have to realize that deploying a nuke would be the end of their country (and their rule) as they know it now.
  18. Not impressed. That reminds me of some of these kids cars these days. Once you have enough bass to keep up with your mains, you're good to go. Everything else is for show or a waste. He could easily overpower his mains with half of what he's built or less.
  19. Thanks for the laugh, CECAA850! Maybe one of you guys could post it. For some reason it acted like it was in slow motion on my computer. It seemed appropriately light for our subject matter.
