  1. The CD player I currently use started out life as a Marantz. I really like it. Yours is a beaut!
  2. Congrats!!! [Y] Seems like a very short time ago my son was that size. He's living on his own now, take lots of pics!!
  3. Have you considered taking them to a truck bedliner shop and having them sprayed?
  4. We'll take an old sock, roll it up and put it in the toes of another sock then do the same thing again and tie the two together to make a pull toy. They only last a couple of weeks but they're some of his favorite toys. He also likes empty plastic coffee cans. When he bats them with his paws they scoot across the floor making noise as they go. It'll amuse him for quite some time.
  5. Welcome to the forum. Most subwoofer amps won't reproduce sounds much over 200 Hz unles the high pass filter can be completely turned off.
  6. Happy birthday to your buddy, he's a good looking guy. I guess that makes him 7 in people years. My little guy just hit the 3 month mark. He's growing at a remarkable rate. He's put on 12 lbs. in the last month, making him 32 lbs. He's at that stage where he looks out of proportion, he's all legs and belly.
  7. Have a read at this thread. It should answer a lot of questions for you. http://forums.klipsch.com/forums/t/139522.aspx?PageIndex=1
  8. The 20's have a mid horn and a tweeter horn, the 7's do not.
  9. Great, informative review Marshall. The Heritage line really benefits from a good sub, especially in HT applications. They really round out the bottom end nicely. [Y]
  10. Any way to audition them? A speakers signature sound is very subjective, you and I could like two totally differend sounds from a speaker. Even if you could find someone who had owned both types of speakers, you'd still be getting an opinion of what sounds good to them, which may be just the opposite of what you like.
  11. I don't think the OP was asking if having one sub is better than having 2 subs. He's asking if one larger sub is better than 2 smaller subs. Therefore, I'd choose the two 10's, with those options. The RW-10 will only go down to 25 Hz. 2 RW-10's will still only go down to 25 Hz. The RW-12 will go down to 21 Hz. One RW-10 will hit 110dB @ 30Hz. Theoretically (DrWho will correct me if I'm wrong) 2 RW-10's in a NON co-located configuration should do 113 dB @ 30 Hz. One RW-12 will do 113 dB@ 30 Hz. I'd take the option of going lower and playing just as loud by buying 1 RW-12 (for less money) than 2 RW-10's. I understand that YMMV.
  12. The cut sheet is under the RB-61 system and they are rated the same as the II's, 95dB @ 2.83V / 1m.
  13. I don't think the OP was asking if having one sub is better than having 2 subs. He's asking if one larger sub is better than 2 smaller subs.
  14. Or one RW 12 now and then when you are unhappy with coverage , add a second....... Agreed. In addition, one sub is much easier to set up than two. While we're speaking in generalities, a similar 12 will in theory go lower than a 10. 2 10"subs may get louder but not lower.
  15. When in doubt, use the components from the known good speaker for comparison. Yes, bare driver measured at the wire terminals.
  16. Agreed, but only if you have a sub in the system also (for HT).
  17. I'm glad you found something that works, but you could have saved yourself some work doing a sub crawl. Put one sub in a seated position, play some test tones and find out what location the sub sounds best/loudest and place the sub there. If you have your subs in 2 different places, there is a good chance you'll run into cancellation issues. 2 subs can actually have less output at the listening position than one. You'll need an SPL meter and someone who'll adjust phase on each sub, while you watch your meter, to get thing just right.
  18. That's really an older sub. How much can you buy it for?
  19. It's official, Nate is a non issue for the US.
