  1. The system will censor d**k but not ***?????
  2. Even though I've seen it before, I found it hard to stop watching it. As far as the second video goes, someone never got his *** kicked growing up.
  3. Any meter should work. Just put it on the "Ohms" setting, disconnect the wires from the driver and put a lead on each terminal of the driver to measure impedance.
  4. And your point is.................[]
  5. Mountain Dew pahleese. That sub deserves a beer!
  6. No, the amp itself and possibly the driver. As previously pointed out, you can check the resistance on the voice coils of the driver. If there is a big difference from one to the other than you've found your problem. It's nice to have a properly working unit to compare things to. BE SURE YOU'RE UNPLUGGED!
  7. One other thought. How exactly do you have them connected to the receiver. I might try swapping connections first to see if it is the sub itself or a signal issue to the sub.
  8. You have the luxury of having one properly working sub to use for diagnostic purposes. It should be a breeze to figure out. Just start swapping components till the problem moves to the good sub and you have your culpret. Start with the parts that are easiest to access.
  9. Welcome to the forum. I'm afraid a repair is in your future. If you have to send it to Klipsch, just send the amp, not the whole sub.
  10. Cable sucks. Congrats to those who could watch it the way it was meant to be seen (HD),
  11. Has anyone been able to actually watch this in HD. Where I live, you can get cable, Dish Network or Direct TV. I don't think any one of them actually broadcast NBC in HD. It's really pi**ing me off. I bet it's spectacular. England will have to go a ways to top this in 4 years.
  12. Click on your inbox at the top right of this page. Use BEC as the address you want the mail sent to. Welcome to the forum!
  13. What load (Ohm load) will your amp see. In other words, what is the impedance of each box? 8,4,2 or1 Ohm?
  14. I based my above response thinking that you'll be using the subs for HT. If you're using them strictly for music, they won't see much action, or not nearly as much as they would with HT.
  15. Even though they'll only be working from 40HZ down, that's the most difficult octave or 2 to reproduce. The lower you go, the more air you have to move.
  16. Welcome to the forum! Let me try again, my posts seem to be disapearing this morning. Your new receiver WILL drive the RF-7's, however, you won't see near their potential. If your receiver has pre-outs, you might want to look into a seperate outboard amplification. A good stout amp of around 200 watts will really wake those 7's up.

Welcome to the forum. You might want to post some pics in the "Garage Sale" section and ask there.
  18. Don't curse the parking lots. Its the idiots who frequent them.
  19. Then I'd have to buy snow tires. Pass. []
  20. Yes, wall mount the RS-7's.
  21. We took almost a direct hit, but it wasn't much of a storm. Thankfully.
