  1. Buylow great idea, now this is what Bo$e were designed to "do"! LOL The "sub" is a perfect nest for birds! The large port makes will let even pigeons in! TheEAR(s) Now theears
  2. Thank Jim,maybe I should get two RSW15's!This should give near 120dB in my small room near 20Hz!Very impressive numbers any way you look at them. TheEAR(s) Now theears
  3. Poor you ONLY KLF20's LOL The KLF20's are more then anybody would EVER need, well since you have a choice here I would go with the KLF30's!WHY NOT? Heck you may as well order a KLF30C(C for center)LOL This should be VERY dynamic, with the right amplification this speaker setup will defeat any theater in quality and output! No bad at all. Now poor me with the RF-5's as rears TheEAR(s) Now theears
  4. LOL LOL and LOL Always remember that AudioReview is as full of stink as a public toilet. So many clowns who dont own and will probably never be able to save the green bash good products and mass market trash gets five star reviews! LOL No serious person can trust the lies and hype on this "review site".The intention was good, but too many would be comedians gather there and post complete nonsense. Any Bo$e review with a good score was hatched by a nervous Bo$e owner or a Bo$e sales rep.Any review that claims Krell amps are anything but great was posted by an angry Top Ramen feeder who hates Krell because it way superior to his SesameStreet amp that cant even drive a 2 ohms load! LOL You even have utter brain dead insects who dare bark Dynaudio and ScanSpeak tweeters are harsh!Talk about total ignorance and lack of common sense. What most should realise is YOU NEED A GOOD AMP TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF GOOD SPEAKERS.Some know all(who know very very...next to nothing)say good speakers should sound great with all amps.I say to these ignorants WRONG Great speakers are accurate and reproduce the signal they get,if the signal is distorted, poor damping in the lower spectrum the sound will suffer. You dont match GOLD and SILVER with poop,or do you? If I hurt some this means only one thing,TRUTH HURTS! And before I end this spicy rant let me say this to compare Klipsch to Bo$e is insulting the founder of Klipsch and all Klipsch speaker owners around the world.Plain and simple. Nobody will tell ME Bo$e is even a speaker!Bo$e is a weapon, weapon against music and that makes Mozart sound like a subway drunkard playing on a Goofy guitar. TheEAR(s) Now theears
  5. Denon 3801 or 3802 would be a great choice,Yamaha has two units in this price range that may also be good choices. After you would have Marantz SR8000 and HK 510 recievers could do the job just fine, and then some. TheEAR(s) Now theears
  6. God to hear all the "gorry details". Now the picture is clear. I would not even bother conecting any resistor to the "empty" leads.I would use electrical tape to insulate the leads and tie em up. The amp will still drive the mids and highs with no problems. The resistor(s) would have to take at least 50W to be on the safe side and have some type of heatsink. I would not even bother with any resistor(s). And about the Carver TFM amps,I have the TFM-75 I like the meters alot. Some purists may not agree but the meters add some "prestige".LOL TheEAR(s) Now theears
  7. Come on peeps we should get along here, are we not all Klipsch valued customers? LOL YES WE ARE Stop the war of words then. This should be a Klipsch help board and not a Klipsch backstab board. TheEAR(s) Now theears
  8. "waste the rest of the money gambling and whoring in Vegas" Dear TBrennan I will NOT go down to your level. You think you are smart, yes you are as smart as a rock. Next time think before you post brain farts,I will not dig down to be at your level. TheEAR(s) Now theears
  9. Mua ha ha ha TheEAR(s) is in a trance...LOL Finally Klipsch has the specs,LOL I am going for the three RSW units, simple. Nuff said TheEAR(s) Now theears
  10. Chances are... Chances are they may call the donut eaters and fast! LOL I am lucky to live in a building with a very solid concrete frame,my music room is almost isolated from any who may complain about loudness. I can blast at ear tearing levels and nobody ever complains. Be sure to make gifts, give all who may complain FREE earplugs! LOL And when the polite and gentle cops stop by have a box of donuts ready.Remember dont use F words,or they may resort to the sticking and pepper spray! LOL Just joking Good choice of speakers, enjoy. TheEAR(s) Now theears
  11. I agree GeorgeC,the KLF30 gets the nod over the RF-3,easy pick here. KLF efortless,RF-3 becomes agressive fast. RF-5 's are much more smooth and get my vote,I have to listen to the RF-7 for several long hours. So far I can tell the RF-7's should be efortless like few.The slam provided by the two 10" mid-bass drivers should be very close to the KLF30. Again my vote goes to the RF-5 and 7.Overall Some will prefer the hoarn loaded midrange of the KLF30's and 20's. TheEAR(s) Now theears
  12. Why in the world would one bi-amp the Chorus? You would need a crossover for the woofer, cut the response where the upper range takes over. I would get a good power amp, with a good power amp you dont need to mod and bi-amp,tri-amp or quad-amp speakers.LOL Most Klipsch(if not all) dont need any bi-amping,just a good amp.The real deal is active bi-amping,you need an active crossover to distribute the signal to prper amps. First what amps do you have? TheEAR(s) Now theears
  13. And we wait and wait,my hair is now grey! NOOOOOOO Come on JimG,BobG,TomG or MrG this coming week we would all feel better after you post the specs. And above all we will feel better knowing the terrorists will get what they deserve. TheEAR(s) Now theears
  14. Should be posted if a few days if JimG stops pushing the RSW.Maybe he wants Klipsch dealers to clear some KSW's to make room for the RSW's? My HT system is all decided upon,it will feature the RF-7 as mains,RF-5's as sourrounds.RC-7 center and the RSW15 and 12 to seal the low end.Cant wait, maybe I add my three Sunfire subs to the setup! TheEAR(s) Now theears
  15. True, very true.DONT SKIMP ON THE SUB I may be TheEAR(s) but I do have many subs, even I would say too many. As a minimum the KSW15 should do just fine in a mid sized room,if you can wait a bit and get a RSW10 or 12 these will give getter bass and lower bass. Me I use 6 subs in my HT system!Yes SIX subs! And each could fill the room with bass to below 25Hz with ease. Combined(with care and an external crossover)the effect is awesome.Bass is not boomy or colored, just there when sub 60Hz is in demand. TheEAR(s) Now theears
  16. This is great news for deal hunters, the older RF3's will be going out for beer prices! Those who want extra value should be served. TheEAR(s) Now theears
  17. KSW made in Canada!? I doubt, still posible. The funny thing is my KSW12 after unpacking ,THE PORT OF ALL THINGS FELL OUT! LOL Talk about quality Klipsch glue used! I took my Super Duper Gule jar and fixed the problem forever. Now with the RSW series there is no ports, lets hope the back panel with the amp and passive radiator does not fall out! LOL I am sure they will be solid as a rock. TheEAR(s) Now theears
  18. The Paradigm Servo-15 lacks some punch, its a very high quality sub.Its a real sub, will go down to 16Hz with no problems.Few subs can claim this! The only sub that goes even lower is the Velodyne HGS18,this brute can hit hard and low.The king of low bass. I think based on other Klipsch products,Klipsch RSW15 should have more punch and more output then the Servo-15. I doubt the RSW15 will match the Velodyne HGS18,in output.True the HGS18 uses one 18" driver, the RSW15 will use two 15"(active,passive).I cant wait,I will compare side by side the big brutes when the RSW15 is out. And I will see(hear) how they all compare to my reference sub(for output)the Revel B15. TheEAR(s) Now theears
  19. Apex The SACD will sound lesser to an HDCD on a Rotel! LOL TheEAR(s) Now theears
  20. ONLY $1550 T-MAN! WOW My Monster Sigma speaker cables cost me more! LOL Dont worry you wife will not get mad TheEAR(s) Now theears
  21. Colin please read my post If you read well I never bashed Klipsch or horn loaded speakers in it,NEVER. I am an audiophile and I have many Klipsch speakers, and guess what I like the sound that comes out of them.If did not own Klipsch or like Klipsch products I would not be part of this forum. And if you read the post the narrow minded TB postsed you will see he gets convulsions when he hears High-End.Why? Simple he cant stomach the price, that is all. Just too bad. I have Klipsch,Dynaudio and Spendor speakers and each brand has its qualities. For dynamics the Klipsch are king, for natural sound the Spendor and Dynes are my choice. TheEAR(s) Now theears
  22. Best value 5 channel amp! Hmm the Rotel RMB-1075 (THX certified). Not harsh at all and better bass control then the Marantz. The Acurus 5 channel power amps could be a super deal if found cheap. TheEAR(s) Now theears
  23. And one more thing,a serious sound system should have at least THREE separate AC receptacles. Two 15AMP and another 20AMP.Minimum The 20AMP serves for the power amp.One 15AMP serves for the sub(s) and the other for the rest of the components(should be filtered). With all my gear I will soon again run out of outlets and have to add a second outlet board! I guess I am too High-Endish LOL as most have little recievers(up to 10AMPS) and thier subs dont need over 5AMPS.So the whole system may run on only 15 AMPS very well. TheEAR(s) Now theears
  24. The SONY SCD-1 and its one great SACD player.Sound quality is fantastic and built quality puts to shame inferior products. The Pioneer DV-AX10 is also a superb machine.Compatible with all formats and built like a real tank. Accuphase digital is even more High-End and will come with a price tag most cant stomach. The Sony and the Pioneer are about 5 grand. The Marantz is also a great unit, costs a bot more around 7 grand. Cheaper SACD units can be found, the sound will remain great but the construction is paper like.I like my gear solid and with sound to match. I am very satisfied with the Pioneer and Sony products one day I will get a two piece Accuphase or Wadia front end. TheEAR(s) Now theears
  25. TBrennan your biased opinion is limited probably as limited as your thinking.Overpriced and underperforming, where did you dig this crap out? Sounds to me like you dont know High-End or most audiophiles.I am one and I dont have any disgust towards horn loaded speakers.Your knowledge is as vast as that of a rock. You are the one who barks here. I own Klipsch horn loaded speakers and I am on my way to buy more Klipsch.By the way TBrennan there any MANY audiophiles who use nothing but horn loaded speakers. You have a distorted idea of audiophiles. Sure tell me a cheapo Onkyo,Sony or any reciever is even close to separates with a Bryston,Celeste or Rotel amp.Come on tell us the piss poor reciever has good damping, can drive all speakers with ease.Come on invent some facts.Tell me a ScanSpeak Revelator or Dynauduio Esotar tweeter is not more detailed then any of your so called as good but cheaper ones.Come on lie again. Sure my Krell is NOT worth the money,TO YOU MAYBE.To me it is,and to may Krell owners it is too.I dont give a damn what you think, you can talk about Ramen soup not High-End. You sound like a frustrated owner of some cheap *** gear. Its not my fault you have a defective and damaged hearing.Ask your doctor about Krell/Klipsch hearing aids. Then you may change your mind, your limited and narrow opinion may just do a 180. TheEAR(s) Now theears
