  1. I embrace the different sides of most events, including this one. So, I find this viewpoint of interest, as well. At the very least, some good pics from across the pond. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9632373/Hundreds-anti-vaxxers-claiming-pandemic-hoax-gather-central-London.html

  4. Been landing on a few of their vids as of late. A big sound and a lot of hooks from just two guys. Tears For Fears= Sowing the Seeds of Love
  5. Looks like a nice pint of bacon grease?
  6. I remember walking into an audio shop years ago and first laying eyes on the very armored looking and formidable Pass Aleph 5. Nothing delicate about it at all, a spikey block and wanted it immediately, way too pricey though. It was 50 watts of Class A power per side. It was powering the just introduced Magnepan 1.6, which I also wanted at the time, though I found a pair on Audiogon later on. Here at 100 watts of Class A are the Aleph 2 monos. Why get one when you can get two at twice the price.😀 Good for cold winter nights I'm sure.. https://www.usaudiomart.com/details/649742057-pass-labs-aleph-2-pure-single-ended-class-a-mono-blocks-200wch-4ohms/?utm_source=featured_ad&utm_medium=web&utm_content=front&utm_campaign=front-featured-ad-click&utm_term=649742057
  7. Great score, once again. The speakers are now all on the same level. 👍 I see the aftermarket drivers on one of the CF4's, forgot the brand name. I assume you've been comparing them, observations?
  8. Nice review on this Pi Dac/streamer. Allo Boss 2 https://www.audiosciencereview.com/forum/index.php?threads/allo-boss2-review-stereo-streamer.22916/
  9. I've always had an interest in Battleships, since first seeing salvos from the 16" guns in movies. Here is a short vid from this guy, who has an interesting job by the way, on the anchor and chain. The ship has two, each weighing 15 tons, each link weighing 130 pounds, each chain being 11,000 feet long and weighing in at 90,000 pounds. Wow.
  10. Was listening to The Hu on Tidal today. First time listen to this song. "The Legend of Mother Swan"

  12. For those who remember seeing the movie Seabiscuit or read about the little horse that could. Here, the 2 horse race with War Admiral. I doubt too many here were around in 1938. Just saw the vid in my feed.
  13. Latest pic of my Venus Flytrap. As far as I can tell, it still has not found a meal. looking a bit hungry perhaps?

  16. For me it's fairly simple. If someone is going to record video to share to an audience of some kind, might as well use a decent video device rather than a crappy one, to go for a clear image. As well, if you are going to record audio gear playing music, might as well have a good microphone too. It doesn't have to be a binaural head, but could be of quality. Then there is no reason for a conversation, audio and video are both addressed in the proper way. For those who don't think music can be recorded well on youtube, I'll offer this vid up for perusal.
  17. So, for those interested, as he responded to my question of "how are you recording your vids." They are recorded with little lapel mikes that are attached to ones clothing. No wonder the sound is pretty bad.
  18. A thing one might consider when buying an untried expensive piece of gear, is to see how well it does on the used market, just in case you want to send it on its way if you don't like it. Or look for it used.
  19. Music for a rainy day or for some night time listening. Patrica Barber's- A Taste of Honey
  20. Don't forget Rogue audio as well, for another direction.
  21. I also don't think they are recorded all that well, as far a youtube vid can be of course. I asked them in one of their vids, what are they using to record it. If they post it, I will pass it on.
  22. I assume some of you have cruised more vids from this Youtube channel, where there are several comparison videos. Watching a Cornwall IV vs. LaScala AL5 at the moment, just for fun.
