The thumb is partly an optical illusion. Zoom in, there is a water mark on top of it and partly obscuring its true shape and two fingers are in play in that thumb image.

Have been listening to a few John Devore vids as of late. This one pertaining to vinyl and thought it apropos to the direction of this thread.

He mentioned that he built them himself. Being that the Epics are 41" tall, I would guesstimate that they are about 18" high.
