Actually, most of the band cashed it in awhile ago. The only two long standing members left were John Schlitt (I suspect we'll see some solo projects from him in the future...what a set of pipes!) and Bob Hartman. The rest of the guys that have played along on the last couple of projects are just Nashville guys that they could recruit to tour and record. Jekyll and Hyde features guys from the band "Newsboys", and was produced, I believe, by Newsboys frontman Peter Furhler. It was at his request that they (John and Bob) do one more "old school" studio project. O well, all good things come to an end. By the way, did some of the old band members come back for that "Farewell" Live album? I'd love to hear Greg X Volz do some remakes of his classic Petra leads.

I have had my Sub-12 for about one day, and I am more than impressed. Again, it is my first "real" sub, and I can't believe it makes that much of a difference. It is sweet looking too. Nice clean lines. Good luck Griff...

And then if you read carefully he quotes the product info from the Klipsch site about the KSW 12...

Not neccesarily. I have a Pioneer 1015tx, and the second zone speakers will play the audio from whatever source is playing through the unit, be it digital or analog. Also, FWIW, the pioneer has a "switch" in the menus to toggle back and forth between a second zone, or a 7.1 HT setup.

The Klipsch matching center for your speakers is a KG2.5v. Not a bad center. I too have enjoyed the KG line of speakers. The new reference centers (RC7 and RC64) would not be your best bet to match your KG's. They are sweet speakers, but not a match. You will notice a huge sonic difference when the sound pans from left to right across the sound stage. Another option, ( if you have the room) is another KG speaker on it's side, like the KG 3.5 or 4.5. Good luck with your hunt.

I just picked up a new Sub-12 yesterday. Holy Cow, what a huge difference! I love Klipsch more now than ever. You won't be disappointed.

Hey guys, I just purchased yesterday my first "real" powered sub. I had been running a puny MTX 100watt sub to supplement the audio with my Forte's in my HT. I told myself for several years that the bass was plenty powerful in my living room and a more powerful sub wouldn't make that much of a difference. Boy was I wrong! This Sub-12 is sweet. It quite simply rattles the foundation in movies, and plays the low end of all my music with a clarity I have never heard. I know that the reference subs get some pretty good vibes around here, but this has to be the best bang for buck sub out there. Kudos to Klipsch for a great product!

I'll Chime in again this week Petra--Jekyll and Hyde Christian influenced Arena Rock This is Petra's farewell album. After 30+ years in the biz, Bob Hartman and John Schlitt and gang finally hang them up, and they went out with a bang. For several years fans of the band have begged them to release an album that went back to their rock and roll roots, and this album doesn't disappoint. Several of their previous albums were very oriented to getting airplay on some conservative radio stations, thus watering down the product. Not so with this one. I was very impressed.

The Pioneer 1015tx can be had for about 500 new. Sweet receiver and 7.1 to boot.

I'll be the first to respond this week. As usual, from a genre that doesn't get much talk--Christian Contemporary.. The Album "Night of Joy" Recorded live on September 9 and 10 2005 at Walt Disney World. This is supposed to be a now annual event at the Magic Kingdom. Christian Artists from around the world gathered and put on a whale of a two day concert event. Here's the artist list from this years disc: Audio Adrenaline--(they just won a grammy last night) Bethany Dillon Robbie Seay Band--one of my new favorite artists Steven Curtis Chapman--a superstar in his own right. $119 bucks plus shipping for a coffee mug. Man am I in the wrong business....I have a couple of KG2.2's that I paid that much for. Ebay is a strange animal sometimes.

Not much I am afraid. 50 bucks would be asking alot for the console and the controllers. Add a couple dollars per game. (Check sites like ebagmes.com for the current used price on vintage games. Some rare titles will go for quite a bit, but most go for less than $5.) Good luck.

Microsoft has really screwed up IMHO. (What else is new) I can't believe you still can't get a new xbox360 without a huge wait. If Sony can overcome this with the new PS3 they will blow the 360 out of the water whether the graphics are better, worse or the same. With today's production facilities, there is no reason to keep the public waiting like this...
