For some, not speaking for myself, they enjoy playing video games in full 1080p. Dont' understand the allure, but its an option that some caught fishhooked into supporting. For me 720 is great, sufficing a set doesn't lag (DLP's circa 2005).
Yes sir, they will be doing two flims, based on the Hobbit and other stories by Tolkien interwoven that lead up to the LOTR trilogy. The hobbit isn't what I call a two film action packed feature of a tale []
Yes, Please! I would love to hear someone elses take on Clair De Lune if you don't mind! It has always been one of my favorite peices to perform - though overrated in some musical circles, I'm still deeply enamored with its sensual qualities.
Per chance a failed marketing opportunity? I'm considering a purchase for use as regular PC speakers if I'm unable to grab a pair of RF-15's which are extremely elusive these days.
Amy, Colter, anyone? Will there be a successor to the iFi's later down the road or is Klipsch heading in a new direction with the release of the KlipschCast products and headphones?
Doc, its because of Klipsch that I'm poor [] But its worth it (atleast for now).
Curretly my gear is boxed up. I'm in transition from a house to another apt soon, and with school demands increasing I'm finding less time to play with my gear. Guess I'll get the change in three more years after grad school. []
Arky, If I had the disposable income I'd mod the networks in a heartbeat. But seeing how I'm a poor college student who can barely afford what he has now... it's going to have to wait till later.
As already posted the new lineup has a much nicer/smoother midrange that just flows. When I first heard the 83's in passing, I was impressed at how easy the sound was being reproduced. However, they do lack the wow factor ther older lineup had. Its almost an apple to oranges comparison since one set has a feature the other doesn't' have.
Finals...... blah.
I'm enjoying this semester. Four finals; one take home and another open note. Its next semester that will blow: 20 hours worth ~6 finals
Wow. These products really are making some serious noise, or rather music to Klipsch's ears.*pun intended of course*
Out of curisosity, have these hit mainstream CE stores?
Unfortunatley many of them went to eBay the same day with people wanting to turn a profit on unsuspecting consumers. Not much different than the release of video game consoles launched in the last few years either.
May she rest in peace; I too will keep her in my prayers.
I lost my grandmother the Tuesday before Thanksgiving this year and can understand some of the emotions you and your loved ones are going through. Remember what Dr. Seuss said: "Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened." []
Never read the books, and refuse to get caught up in the religous sentiments being thrown out by certain individuals (not necesarrily here). As far as I see it, its probably a retelling of the Clash of the Titans of Greek mythology; where the gods over took the titans except told in a judeo-christian enviroment. Looks interesting, and I'll appreciate it at face value.
I owned the RF 35's before moving up to RB 75's and RF7's. The 35's were my first Klipsch purchase and I love every moment of them. Couple with a potent amp I'm sure your ears will be pleased for many years to come.
