  1. Wow, WSOP! how far down did they pay this year? Did you buy in at 10K or win a satellite or something? My cash game profits usually go toward my Klipsch addiction. Congrats and good luck "going big" Jeremy
  2. It has helped me cope with some frustrating situations, hope it will help you or anyone who reads it and thinks about it. Good luck with your "situation." Jeremy
  3. Yes it is, thanx for asking Michael. I'm looking for a cheap receiver, with a phono stage, for him. He's borrowing one of my old Kenwood's now. He is also using my "White van" garage speakers, so it looks like i'm gonna have to turn him on to some horns! (or get me some more horns for the garage) He is pretty happy and wanted me to thank you, I was just waiting for a better opportunity. Before you know it, he'll have the sickness too. Thanx again, Jeremy
  4. Back up now, they must be working on it, and I just hit it at the right time [] Jeremy
  5. I just logged on after being gone for about 2 hours, and the home page has changed drastically. I don't save the forum in my favs. I always navigate through the home page to see what is new, and its new. So for all those of you who skip the home page, check it out! Jeremy
  6. Not many guys hit the ball harder than Vlad Gurerro does. Glad he is OK. Jeremy
  7. "SHIPPING:WE SHIP ALL GODS BY FEDEX,1-3 DAYS DELIVERY TO YOUR DOOR STEP" Thanx, but I already have a God. One is enough, and he says that I shall have no other Gods before him, so i'm set, but thanx for offering. Good catch Michael [] Jeremy
  8. Congrats from Mr. 280 [:$] Jeremy
  9. I may be interested. Does it have the cream option? Jeremy
  10. I find myself listening to anything I can find that features brass instruments. That usually means alot of Jazz, but I just love the sound of brass horns on my Cornwalls. Jeremy
  11. Last I heard, he was heavy petting with Donner and Blitzen. Jeremy
  12. I feel bad for ya Bill. I know this is hind-sight, but thought I would share. Here is what I do to keep boxes tamper proof. I lay 3 or 4 pieces of red sewing thread perpendicular across the seams that i'm going to tape. After they are taped over you will be able to see if the box was tampered with. The thread will either be cut or pulled off with the tape, or missing all together. I have done this several times in the past with good success. I always notify the buyer so they can inspect it before opening. Jeremy
  13. That's my guess too. Stereo criers [] Mine are 2 and 7 years old, so they are far enough apart not to be too much trouble at the same time. Congrats to you. Sometimes I think the saying is true, "You aren't a parent until you have two children" Good luck Kev, Jeremy
  14. The lady I bought my Thorens from was selling lots of vintage audio equipment for an old friend to fund his nursing home stay. She had just sold a Paragon to someone in Japan for $8k, and she said it was $4k to ship it over there. Pretty neat vintage piece! Jeremy
  15. Sorry Clarence, I never got the e-mail. I've been away from the board for a couple of weeks. If your still interested, let me know. Jeremy
  16. It's been almost a week ago now, but I just got home yesterday from the trip. Also i've been away from the board for a few weeks as I was taking a 3 week Interim course at the local community college. It was hard to stay away but I managed with shear will power, and pulled an "A" in my intro Psychology class. Anyway, My dad and I were heading to Columbus, OH for a big car show that we have attended together for 14 years. We pass right through the north side of Indy, so I thought i'd try to hook up with Michael. He had been holding a Sony turntable for a while, that he was "paying forward" to me. I'm trying to get a cheap vinyl rig set up for my father-in-law, who has a pretty nice rock collection. He has not been able to play in over ten years since his wife, my mother-in-law, passed away after a long fight with cancer. He is a great guy and just kind of put that part of his life in boxes. I bought a Thorens TD-124 a while back, and ever since he heard it set up with my Cornwalls, he has the bug. Michael gave me a really nice TT. Much nicer than I expected, and it will work great for my father-in-law. It had rained hard all the way from Chicago, so we were a little behind schedule, and couldn't stay long. Michael is a great guy "I expected no less". He showed me his Thorens TD-125 that he just got. I heard the problem he was having. I hope he got it worked out. I got to listen to his Lascalas with the THX subs, wow what a live, forward sound! He then let us listen to the K-horns in his gallery. I have never listened to k-horns before, and I was not disappointed. I was afraid the room would be to "live" with hard wood floors, but it not really. He has good corners and a chair in the sweet spot. He played Pink Floyd DSOTM for me. Wow! what lower bass extension. I'm definately in love! I wish I had corners. Maybe after the kids move out. We didn't have time to listen to the home theater, or see the "garage o'Klipsch". I needed to have an excuse to come back another time I can see why Dr. Who is such good friends with Michael, and keeps going back! Thanx for the hospitality Michael! He was the 1st forum member that I have met. Hopefully there will be more in the future. Jeremy
  17. I've been away from the board for a few weeks, so I missed the earlier thread. I'm interested to hear your results. Please share when you get time. Jeremy
  18. We are definately coming back that way, but we may be in a hurry. Thanx for the offer. Jeremy
  19. Hey Michael! I was wondering if you still have that Sony turntable we discussed a while back. I'm coming through Indy Thursday late morning, if you still have it maybe I could pick it up. I'm coming across 465 north and over to 70 on my way to Columbus. You're on the NW side of town, right? Let me know, maybe we can hook up. I'd love to see the "House o'Klipsch" Jeremy
  20. I have a couple of rolls of the Parts Express black ash vinyl that are unopened. Let me know if you are interested. Jeremy
  21. Sublime --Gold It's kind of an all songs collection from this Reggae / Rock/ Dance Hall band. 42 songs on 2 discs. There are some real treasures in there from a band who's talented front man left us way too early. Jeremy
