  1. I think they look beautiful too. He did a good job refinishing them. They probably sound mostly like Cornwalls. You have the room and like you Herseys, you could like these too.
  2. Did you restore those Klipschorns RandyH 000?
  3. Thank you. I appreciate your reply and kind offer though.
  4. Thank you!, but I need enough to do a pair of Klipschorns, enough for the six grills. RandyH 000 replied he’ll buy it.
  5. I’m building new tops for my 1978 decorator Klipschorns. I’ve been reading old threads here about replacing grill cloth. Will Wendell Fabrics and or Duracrest Fabrics still sell just enough fabric to me to do my Klipschorns in black? I’m guessing 2 to 3 yards. How’s Bob Crites’s grill cloth? Any members have some for sell? Any other suggestions where to buy from? I’d really like to have some grill cloth that looks like the black cloth that Klipsch put on their Heritage speakers, but thinner more acoustically transparent! The cloth Klipsch used was somewhat thick. I’d like to use the typical modern thin smooth stretchable nylon black cloth, but it wouldn’t look right. Best glue to adhere grill cloth? I’m soon buying Bob Crites’s A/4500 crossovers and CT120 tweeters to put in them. I’m using Bob’s A/AA with oil can caps now that I bought fourteen years ago. I keep them as an AA. How big of an improvement is Bob Crites’s A/4500 crossovers over an AA 6000hz? I read here many feel his CT120 tweeters are big improvements. Comments?
  6. Nice! Where do you buy the Eliptrac tweeter horns?
  7. Looks great! Did you put new black grill cloth on them and if so where did you buy it? Did you put some round trim boards on the top and bottom of their tops fronts just below the Klipsch emblem and above tweeter?
  8. Wow! Thank you. I’m wanting to buy some of these! Welcome to the forum.
  9. I searched the Internet and it listed a link to another site that had someone posting it is 26 X 18 with a 13 foot ceiling, but I have no way to verify it’s correct.
  10. Thank you. I thought he had mentioned actual room dimensions at sometime that would be ideal for Klipschorns and a high ceiling. I think I remember it being discussed on here a few times, but I can’t find it using the search function. I bookmark things like that, but lose them when changing to more modern technologies to get onto the Internet.
  11. What’s the ideal room dimensions for Klipschorns? Did Mr. PWK ever mention it?
  12. That’s great! You’re very fortunate!
  13. Welcome. Nice job. What speakers and crossovers were in them?
  14. I’m considering upgrading my old round alnico magnet K77 tweeters in my 1978 Klipschorns. I replaced their diaphragms around fifteen years ago, but read they roll off around 14k to 16k hertz. I have Bob Crites A/AA oil can caps crossovers in them. They’re around fifteen years old. I don't want to change, or modify the crossovers. Any tweeter suggestions? Two I’m considering are Bob’s CT120, or Beyma CP25. Any comments about those, or which are better?
  15. Does anyone know why Klipsch rear mounts the mid horns in the Klipschorns and not mount them on front? To me it seems it could be optimal to have them front/ flush mounted like the tweeters are. Are there benefits to rear mounting them? Are there reasons why Klipsch doesn’t mount them on the front?
