  1. Wild Horses Childhood living is easy to do The things you wanted I bought them for you Graceless lady, you know who I am, You know I can't let you slide through my hands Wild Horses, Couldn't drag me away, Wild, wild horses, Couldn't drag me away... I watched you suffer a dull, aching pain Now you decided to show me the same No sweeping exits or offstage lines, Can make me feel bitter or treat you unkind Wild Horses, Couldn't drag me away, Wild, wild horses, Couldn't drag me away... I know I dreamed you a sin and a lie, I have my freedom but I don't have much time Faith has been broken tears must be cried, Let's do some living after we die Wild Horses, Couldn't drag me away, Wild, wild horses, We'll ride them someday Wild Horses, Couldn't drag me away, Wild, wild horses, We'll ride them someday
  2. Memorials may be made in Robert’s name to the Mollie Wilmot Radiation Oncology Center at Saratoga Hospital, 211 Church St., Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.

  4. May the faithful departed rest in light eternal. Rock on, Rob.
  5. OB's a man with a great love for some of the finest things in Creation: Porsches, Klipsch Cornwalls, Scott tubes, and '60s-'70s Rock and Roll. All good things, and the love of them, come from one source. I'm praying to The Source, through His Son, that He will use Rob's deep love to implement His Divine Love and bring about a rapid and complete healing, until all things are made perfect. Agreed.
  6. Here's my underground bunker cubicle two-channel set-up: Frazier midgets, Nikko 501, ELAC Miracord 10H, Realistic SCP-5, and a jack cord for my iPod.
  7. Looks like a great time was had by all. Sorry I couldn't make it, but then... ...I'd have missed this.
  8. I have been informed that the party for the lovely Miss June Anne is indeed next Saturday in Kyle, and that Pop's presence will be required at all times. "All this is gonna be MINE?!?!? Even all the black Frisbees??????"
  9. Here's a great big HAPPY BIRTHDAY wish to a great Den Mother! WEBELOS!!!!! Have a great day, Amy, and thanks for all you do!
  10. Just did three racks. Hickory smoke for three hours, foil wrapped with "mystery liquid" for two hours, mesquite smoke for the final hour. Everyone's happy at Casa del Verano.
  11. First time I ever heard a K-Horn was in Denton. An art prof had one in a barn/studio in Ponder. Mono tubes. 1967. I thought he was nuts. Wasn't the last time I was stupid.
  12. I thought about offering him enough so he could clear about a $1000 bucks on them. []
  13. Thanks, all, it was. Hmmm. Must be some good karma cross-posters here. []
  14. IMHO, a very nice unit, and sounds quite unlike other mainstream Japanese electronics of that era. The "Natural Sound" tag was not just a marketing slogan. Pots are possibly ALPS on that unit, and difficult to clean with spray. Just work 'em. The bulbs are wired in two or three sets of series (IIRC), and you need to replace them all.
  15. Some of the most heart-wrenching stories I've ever heard! The one recently about the babies switched at birth by the hospital just abouttore my heart out.
  16. Ports out the back (Helmholtz resonator design). You can see the porting along the sides in the photo above.
  17. Congratulations, Dave. Glad it worked out! [Y]
