  1. Klipsch makes a good sub but there are other companys that do pretty good job as well. You might check into Elemental Design. Good bang for the buck. I would get a sub that has at least a 12" driver. But thats just me. Good luck.
  2. Its good to see that folks still carry on traditions that was passed down thru generations. I ate 4 bowls of blackeyed peas thru out the day and my wife crack open a few cans of mustard greens and they tasted terrible. They tasted like metal. So everybody here at the house had one small bite of greens and then fed them to the chicken. They ate them, heck they will eat there own kind Have a safe and prosperous New Year guys and Good Lord be with you and your familys.
  3. I really enjoy my eD A3 300. Its alot bigger than expected. And I agree with the tech support. They are down to earth guys and will help you with any question you have. Good luck with your search.
  4. Pass me the blackeyed peas, please.(that's part of a song). I love'em. I eat them every New years day and all thru out the year. The way my luck runs, I'm afraid not to eat them. One year a neighbor brought us 3 bushel baskets of peas in the pod. We podded peas for days. They were the best peas I ever ate. The peas were large and the soup was thick. Now thats liven'. Those of you who carry on that tradition, don't forget to pass it down. Good luck guys.
  5. I had a payroll check sent overnight to me. (might have been fed ex) Got it 3 weeks later. My neighbor had it.....the biggest part of the 3 weeks. Good delivery service, and good neighbors.

    RC-52?

Get the RC 62. Wait alittle while, save some cash and get the 62 and that way you won't be wondering "what if."
  12. Live at Melbourne is my favorite. In DTS.
  13. My wife talked me out of brine because the last one I smoked was at a wedding and it was completely gone. I never got even a taste of it. Everyone said it was the best they had. I think they were just hungry. So again, my wife injects a "Honey Suckle" 20lb bird and I just put it on the smoker using apple wood and a pan of water under it. I hope I can stay up to finish the job. We will be taking the bird to my mother-in-law's house about an hour north of here. But this Xmas I am going to try the brine. Thanks guys for all the in-put and God Bless you, your family, and our service men and women on this Thanksgiving.
  14. I really like my XPA 3. If you get one and don't like it, you have 30 days to send it back. So you have nothing to lose. Good luck.

  16. I told my wife I was going to ask the experts. Thanks guys. I'm not real sure about Jerols method.
  17. I've smoked alot of turkeys over the years but I've never used a brine. As a matter of fact I don't know how. Can someone help me out with this brine thing. Do I need to brine when I smoke my turkey? Is it better with a brine?
  18. If you get a lower end Yamaha with all the bells and whistles you need, and a amp, the 62's will sound fantastic.
  19. Go for the 82's, you won't be sorry. Good luck. You might hang on to your cash and keep your eye open for something on C-list or Audiogon.
