  1. I'm thinking you don't have the brass jumpers on the back of the speaker terminals. They basically tie the HF/LF (high frequencie/low frequencie) together. People who bi-wire their speakers will remove these.
  2. Those are his RB-51's ( rear surrounds). He has RB-81's up front. Looks like he's got the same stands for both pair. Wonder how he keeps the RB-51's sturdy on that top plate? The RB-81's have threaded inserts on the bottoms, but not the 51's.
  3. Definately RB-51's because of the rear ports. Looks like the threaded inserts are on each side of the labels...Weird...
  4. This pic might be too small.. I don't have the skill of Youthman..LOL
  5. What Wuzzer said.. We were typing at the same time:)
  6. 24 is great. After season 8, I've read that they will be making a movie to finalize it. I really enjoyed The Sapranos, but was extremely dissapointed with the ending. I felt like I never got any closure. I know they made it look like they all were going to get shot up in the restaurant, but if that's what was suppose to happen, then show it. At least I wouldn't have to "guess" what happened. Still one of the best, along with 24 IMO..

  8. Hi Scott. How much room do you have from the floor to the bottom of your DLP? The reason I ask is because I've had pretty good luck using center speaker stands that are slightly titled upward toward the listening position. That way, you don't have to worry about marring into the walls or possible falling that high. There are tons of stands out there. Here is one that I just recently saw here on the forums.. Maybe send him an email and get some info...
  9. Congrat's!! Can't wait to hear your impressions and see some pic's!
  10. The only difference is the RB-5II is internally wired with monster calbe. No difference in sound.. To me anyway
  11. Is your sub plugged into a power conditioner or surge protector?
  12. While a pair of RB-75's would be great, a pair of RB-5 would also be a nice match. I'd probably go the RB-5 route before I'd go with RB-81's, but either way I'm sure you'll be happy. I've heard the 81's with the RC-7 and it sounded fine.
  13. Thanks Mark! You have an email... Daryl
  14. And are as big, if not bigger than the RF-5 and RF-7[]
  15. Thanks for the kind words guys! Feelings are mutual..David and it just sucks you live so far away or I'd just ship it to you so you can at least try it out and see how you like it. I'm sure one will pop up soon on your side of the world:) I'm still keeping my eyes out for ya.[Y]
  16. Thank you for your service!! Bet that little rig sound great in that room[Y]
  17. Tommyboy is still MIA from the forums.. That post was from 2008.. Hope he's alright...
  18. I guess it all depends on what speakers your talking about. Seems the more headroom the better, but then again, if your wanting to put 400 watts into an RC-10, that might be a problem. What amp and speakers are you referring to? Wouldn't you want to put the more watts into the mains?
  19. That's an awesome turnaround! Tough to beat that[Y]
