  1. Congratulations and welcome. How about a picture? cubdog
  2. There is no reason your amp should cause any problem. You could use a 600 wpc amp without harming the speakers. You won't ever use that much power unless you put in earplugs and try to blow the Cornwalls up. cubdog
  3. Synergy, amplification, room acoustics, musical tastes, etc. play into speaker preferences. I have had Cornwalls, KG4s and still have CF3s. My RF7IIs are by far my favorites. Any of you guys local to me are always welcome to stop in for a listening session. cubdog
  4. I'm in northern Illinois. If you want to listen to my setup let me know. cubdog
  5. I don't think the speakers are at fault. The room or maybe your ears. I have owned and heard many different Klipsch speakers and certainly don't find the RF7IIs to be bright. I would work with your room treatments before doing anything rsh. cubdog
  6. Debateable, I had Cornwalls now I have RF7II. cubdog
  7. Jasper, age 4, 135 lb Yellow Lab. With freind. cubdog
  8. What speakers were you listening to before the RF7IIs? cubdog
  9. Everyone should hear DQ10s at some point. Dispite their limitations they are remarkable speakers. cubdog
  10. Don't know about Naim with 7s. I'm using Bel Canto M300 mono blocks, [150wpc ], with my R7IIs and love the sound. cubdog
  11. I just can't decide what to power my RF7IIs with. I'm interested in the Odyssey Stratos and the Bada Purer 3.3 se but have not heard either. I'd probably use a tube pre with the Odyssey. The Bada is a hybrid integrated. Please give me some suggestions or feedback. What is the ideal type amp for the R7IIs? cubdog
  12. I have a Yaqin MS 12B which I believe is a step up from the 22B. Still it was less than $200 shipped and sounds very good. I was using it as a phono pre but now its a pre fpr my Adcom 555II. Nice unit for the money. cubdog
  13. My RF-7IIs used for 2 channel only. cubdog
  14. Damn nice speakers. Congratulations. cubdog
  15. What do you guys like? SS with a tube pre, all tube, high power, flea, ice? I've tried a 200wpc SS with both tube and SS pre amps. Tripath with the same pre amps. I'd like to hear an ice power amp. I'm definately going to change my power source. Give me some feedback please. cubdog
  16. They sound great! I like them much better than my Cornwalls. So far they have taken everything I've thrown at them. I listened to a bunch of jazz first. Joe Zawinal, Gerry Mulligan, Keith Jarrett, Harry Allen, etc. Then for my wife, Clapton, Raitt, Hornsby etc. She even likes the way they look. cubdog
  17. One more. I need to figure out how to post multiple pictures within a post. cubdog
