Thanks man! My wife and I love old 'stuff'. Note the 1940 Zenith radio as well. Both work like new and have been repaired and brought to new/working.. The phone (1937 year. Hard stamped at factory inside) is plugged in and is our land line. The insides are beautiful too, even the bell is perfection. Love it! But man it is LOUD. Good for when outside fartin' around. LOL And by the way. We do have the Crites titanium diaphragms in ALL of our klipsch tweeters. No crossover changes though and we love them just like this too! They've been on most every single day since forever ago now. Just have never had the desire to change a thing since. ( wanted Belles ones...but would never fit in our space....) ...edit: geez...dusty on 'things'. Pics were taken during disking fields. Gets bad around here during cutting too. Clean clean clean!

Man! A shame if your room, placement, connected gear and of course your ears are not working for ya with this model. We purchased our 1996 manufactured ones in 1998. We even purchased a second set of grills to have that were sent from Klipsch. Luckily, so far no mistakes and have both still. Let us know how it goes!

Still though...great shape overall. Usually speakers this (old) are thrashed. Someone took great care of those. These are very sought after.. ๐Ÿ‘Œ Hopefully, they'll work for you after returning to stock

We don't live all that far away. IF we needed another pair of these.....we'd be on our way. Outstanding shape. Only thing I can see is a stain(?) on lower left grill?
  6. The Klipsch Belle was originally introduced in 1971 and today it is considered the queen of the Klipsch heritage line. It is the only speaker system Paul Klipsch designed with a woman in mind, his wife whom he named the speaker after. As the story goes, Belle Klipsch wanted a less obtrusive, pleasing to the eye speaker system for their living room, yet without compromising the trademark Klipsch sound. Starting with the enclosure design of the famed La Scala system, Paul Klipsch tweaked the proportions of cabinet to give it a more balanced look and โ€œbeautifiedโ€ it with grille cloth and high-grade veneer. Of course Belle couldnโ€™t have been more pleased with the results, not to mention the thousands of wives thereafter. The Belle has a truly timeless esthetic appeal that seems to get even better with age. While the Belle Klipsch has been called the most beautiful heritage speaker system of all time, not many were sold. It is pretty much sonically identical to the La Scala system, which was priced approximately 55% lower (85% lower if you settled for a pair of unfinished Scalas) then the Belles. Because the buying demographic of Klipsch speakers was predominantly men, most of which werenโ€™t concerned with style, you can understand why paying a premium for beauty was not appealing. Ironically, today, of all the Klipsch Heritage systems, the Belle has seen the biggest increase in value because there are relatively so few around. K-77-M High Frequency Driver/Horn: The famed compression driver /horn tweeter gives you vivid, sparkling high frequency detail beyond the range of audibility. You hear a sharply focused, lifelike stereo image. Dynamic range is breathtaking. Distortion is nowhere to be heard. K-55-V Alnico Mid Range Driver/Exponential Metal Horn: Midrange frequencies are the most critical to your enjoyment of music. In the Belle, these frequencies are capably handled by a powerful, smooth sounding compression driver/horn assembly. This midrange driver assists the Belle, in delivering an amazing 104 decibels of sound pressure when operating on just one watt of input power. This results in awesome dynamic range and distortion free response. K-33 Woofer: The K-33 fully takes advantage of it folded bass horn cabinet. Deep full-bodied bass that is not only heard but felt! Type AA Crossover: The passive crossover network of the Belle, is a vital component to the overall performance of the system and is a classic example of the KLIPSCH dedication to engineering excellence. This network takes incoming electrical information and assigns it to the proper driver to achieve the smoothest frequency response. Unmatched Craftsmanship: KLIPSCH cabinetry is the immediately evident indicator of the construction quality that has made KLIPSCH famous. Meticulously crafted by the finest craftsman in the business. Each pair is precisely matched for color and grain structure. One tiny flaw in one speaker and the pair is destroyed. The cabinet of the Belle, is also critical to its bass response since a large part of this cabinet forms the woofer horn. Belle Folded Bass Horn: The Belleโ€™s folded horn woofer has long been the marvel of audio enthusiasts and engineers alike. The horn has always been the most efficient means of reproducing sound. But for deep bass, a horn of considerable length is required. KLIPSCH long ago solved this problem by "folding" a horn into a more compact size, resulting in unmatched bass reproduction.
  7. Get those speakers and set them outside with ya! Crank it up!๐Ÿ™ƒ๐Ÿ‘ŒGet a weather tarp for you and them! Or.....apparently she'd at least keep the speakers! (My wife loves that model too, but things/room....) She asked me once about changing the front area of the room to make them 'work'. Pretty awesome! Just knew they wouldn't have sounded well, and would have looked odd/out of place too. That set was used, reasonable price (way more than the posted ones here!) and in like new condition. Long ago now. Was bummed. But, been very happy for what we could use in our room over the years regardless. Fortes ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ‘Œ You're in business.
  8. Always wanted a pair, but would never fit in our living room. Seems quite reasonable for these.
  9. Please send more pics when done Micklipsch๐Ÿ‘Œ Nice clean grills make a big difference too!
  10. You did a great job on those Quartets! Great speakers ๐Ÿคฉ. All of the helpful posts and images on this will be able to help others too. No doubt.๐Ÿ‘Œ Great folks here in this outfit! Been here since June 1999๐Ÿค ~Mike (Will I get a 25 year plaque when, or if I hit it?๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿคฃ)

We have two of the Kg 2.5, and the 1.5's (the difference is the newer ones are pre-drilled for omnimount brackets.) Love em'. Apparently the 1.2's have sold~
  13. Apparently, we have a few Joe Friday Homicide Investigators in here.. I myself retired.๐ŸŽ‰ It's a speaker for sale ad. The pics look fine. Wide-angle shots. For the concerned, ask for more pics, questions, phone, address etc.. next time. But maybe they are sold now? As John said, 'pending'. 'If' they are as nice as seller said...a very good deal then for sure.
  14. ....'sound much better to my ears in my space.' What matters most ๐Ÿ‘Œ Originally we had HeresyII's. Then after having a listen to a friends ChorusII's in his home, we had to have a set too. Still own and love our Heresy's too though, but like you said... Our son has the new Forte' IV's. He grew up with Klipsch in our home. After auditioning a set, he had to have those new Forte's. We have yet to listen ourselves, but after listening to him speak how much he loves them ( a LOT), he's very happy. Wish he didn't live so far away now, but his career required it. Montana to now in Ohio.
  15. I looked to see if these were on here already, I may have missed it. Hard to find in decent shape for sure. Hard to tell with pics in add. And.. everything has gone up. As designed. 16. Nope..but will now. ๐Ÿ‘Œ I have technical problems. ๐Ÿ˜‰
  17. We have the ChrorusII's (A larger version of forte's) 7 inches from the wall. Work great! Our room, gear and our ears though..๐Ÿ‘Œ

  19. My hunting partner, Casey. We were blessed to have her for 15 years. Missed so much. Never got another dog since.
  20. The kids place. Needs a roof .... ๐Ÿคฃ ~ down the road a bit from their place a couple miles. This is about 100 miles east of Glacier Park. The plains of northern Montana are brutal.
  21. We pass through Rogers Pass to see our kids and grandbabies up on the 'Hi-Line'. Shelby Montana. Where the snow never sticks because it has blown into N Dakota. ๐Ÿ™ƒ
  22. OK grasshopper. Some. ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ‘Œ Yes, that place like most cities (to us anyway) is a circus. ๐ŸŽช We're just not very peoply, so we belong in the frozen sticks.๐Ÿ™ƒ
  23. I just ran across these again. Been on for some time now. No one made the 'right' offer yet? Calif a huge state, someone will eventually come up with a 'deal' on these. https://www.ebay.com/itm/234890222247?hash=item36b08c5aa7:g:5QoAAOSwCgNj48Hg&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAAwEjKAnSiyfLChQjHPcWnB8EL3q0xvDJNOwh4C%2BLUz6mqaV8N%2BAfPSHdugMk4StyqPcJQ5LwQXQ05Wvg88SlDK105CHhqWTCbkKVekcDoRaaz3%2BX0JtlKrMBrBTIgzdtOpkf%2FOr60ggw9Ih7Cv5mC6q6jQdnMcaoFw0GbwqINKexYwFZhJoP0qVjYAlf3NtztGavXPgqUxngXZCNCSIrx%2B4sbG%2FADVU56kdMUOo2AHp5kDKF94EyjNts5SBG6yu6EIw%3D%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR56BjMvrYQ
