I am thinking about getting a crown XTI 1000 amp to run my LSI's. My question is can i use my current preamp witch is an old Kenwood c2. Thanks.

Every year my wife and kids try to set christmas orniments on my speakers, and i tell them NO!! guess i'm just a scrooge.

Ok you've talked me out of it, i still love the sound of them the way they are. Now it's time to find a different amp, after i installed the new sonicaps in the crossovers the Adcom gfa-555 amp isn't sounding so good anymore, so i drug out the old Onkyo m-501 amp and hooked it up and things sounded a lot better. I would like to find a hafler dh-500 that's what my friend used when these were his speakers, and they sounded really good. So I'm going to try and sell my Adcom and buy another amp, does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

I was thinking i would get more bottem end by putting in the k-33. I use a sub so it's not really a problem, just a thought i was kick'in around.

I have k43 woofers in my lsi's and i am thinking about installing k33's in them. Does anyone know what a fair asking price for the k43's would be? or maybe someone has k33's that they would like to trade for them. Thanks.

Just trying to figure out what year my lsi's were made. The serial numbers on the back are 1296 and 1297, my friend bought them new in 1978, but was that the year they were made?

I use an old klipsch sw 15ll.

I ordered the vinyl from Elusive disk, ought to have it in a few days.

You will love your lsi's, it's hard to keep the volume turned down becouse the louder they get the better they sound.

Excellent show, finally got my hearing back, ten feet away from the stage so it was up close and personal. all the bands sounded really good, but collective soul kicked ***.

Tonight my son and i are going to see Live, Blues Traveler& Collective Soul. No seating, gotta stand all night. I know it will not bother my son to stand, but my old legs are gonna ache.

Billy Gibbons reminds me of my old buddy Mike(RIP). He looked just like him. Mike is the former owner of my LSI's.

Being a huge Tom Petty fan i bought it when it first came out. I love it. I saw Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers in 2006 with Stevie Nicks, hell of a show. I am goig to see them again Aug 20. Steve Winwood will be there also.

I use a Dual 1249 TT, can someone tell me why it makes a popping noise out of the right speaker when the arm returns to its rest and shuts off. I'm allways there to turn down the volume when the record is finished. if you don't it will scare the crap out of you.

i won't drink anything but budweiser. chew on that people Budweiser is the king of beers. so chew on that a second time people.

Does this mean that i have to get rid of all of the Budweiser mugs and glasses that i have collected,and start drinking some other beer.
