I have been told the only way to get "lossless" audio out of a blu-ray is over HDMI. I run a Sherwood Newcastle P-965 preamp, so I use Toslink for audio. Would I be better off with 5.1 analog out? Or is there a way to seperate the audio from the HDMI. Personally I perfer as few connections as possible for Video, so direct to PJ is my first choice. So how do I get the best Audio?

Just be sure to use a good quality RG-6, quad sheild is my choice. Stay away from flimsy Rg-59. Just my $.02

Hey, A friend of mine picked up a vintage 15" speaker cabinet. Asked me if there is a 15" klipsch speaker that he could use to make an amp/monitor, for playing bass guitar. I was thinking a K-33, but thought I should ask before I point him in the wrong direction. So I know Eminence makes drivers just for this purpose, if not a K-33, is there a Klipsch driver that would do well for this?? Thanks

Amy, Are the mirage oasis speaks wall mountable? Also I looks like a face up speaker, won't it fill with rain, snow, and ice? Or am I looking at it upside-down? Thanks Brac

Hey, On my price sheet it is listed this way" THX Home Theater (2)KL-525-THX, (3)KL-650-THX, (1 PR)KS-525-THX, (2)KW-120-THX, (1)KA-1000-THX The assumpion would be kl-650 L-C-R ks-525 S kl-525 R then the subs Hope this helps, The surrounds should really be KS's for sound dispersion, the LCR, Left center and right) should all be the same. In fact when ordered as a set they will send you 1 right and 2 lefts- one of wich to be used as the center. Some people also swap out the rear 525's for 650's but not needed for your room size. BTW what does the setup cost in AU?

I agree completely, a properly working set of Forte's will rattle the windows. Maybe also look at what you are feeding them with? Bad settings etc.

You got what will be a nice set of speakers with a little work, I have bought beat up KLF-10 for around $100 but they sound great. The center cap is an easy glue on. someone on here can tell you where to get one. As far as sanding and restaining, You would have to be very careful with your sanding because it is a laminet, might be better to re-laminet. but see what others say. Enjoy your new speakers
