  1. These are sold to a forum member! Thanks to both parties. And thanks for all the replies here. Always thought I would keep them. They are what brought me here to forum. They will be missed,
  2. Replying to 2 members in the order they have came in by PM. Thanks!
  3. Well, this one should put one close to the edge:
  4. Yes those are cars where roads are salted for snow. As a rule, not much snow in Florida, unfortunately. Cars that reside mostly in coastal zones in Florida are abit different. Inland here 45 miles approx. from Gulf, no rust on mine and, it came from Tampa, inland. Best around here to spray/wash off the salt after a vacation to coast, even if undercoated. Hard for me to plan too far ahead as, I am recently retired and, do not wear a watch. As for intentions well, that is another slippery slope...imlo
  5. If you listen to your TT exclusively, maybe a different stylus or cartridge. If it were me, a crossover refresh would be in the cards. Just my limited opinion. Good fortune!
  6. Lol, lots of songs make me cry, here is one or 2: Baker street is another but, think it was covered here, another:
  7. LOLOL, supposed to be a joke @WillyBob ...We have 2 Volvos with high mileage. One with a motor that maybe has 130,000 on it. If you take care of a Volvo, 500,000 is doable, even higher. Mine has some problems but, is good enough for me to take anywhere I want so far. I keep the title in the glove box, just in case. Have hauled Chorus, LaScala and other stuff...it is like eating lettuce...easy. Last roadtrip 400+ miles to Jax and return last week.
  8. Yep, 2000 Volvo V70 SE wagon with 235,000... a proven daytripper...
  9. No offense but, Holy Smokes man. And that is not even the "stout"... 151 and pineapple juice a friend of mine in Melbourne. I went with their famous iced tea. Looks bit like a Cornwallish...cool...oh and makers mark near my age, even better. The man needs his speakers now, western style...
  10. Heard of tripping also tipping cows but tables? Or is that tripped out tables 4 legged.
  11. Didn't know it was that high. Just spoke with a dude up at the corner store just now and he claimed it was lower. Take your word for it. Stout sounds like not a Guinness in this case, lol... I mean... He had a flat while already running his spare on I-10. Made sure they were good to go and gave my # in case local help doesn't come as planned. They had been to a welding class in Pensacola, of all places.
  12. Lol, yes, I remember now. Yes there is a place, forgot now that we toured through, may Murphreesboro that was advertising flavors and sample. Friend told me it was not the real proof stuff.
  13. WillyBob, I was starting to go on a tangent again. Yes punch like *Elden was describing, it sounded like. And then someone would spike it with Everclear, lol. Was thinking, age and location although different, people are the same all over. Generalization...Did I mention I like corn, rye, scotch good whiskey, gin, vodka and a good aperitif ...lol! Well I won't mention it.
  14. Yes it Lol, a sister in law or two when together watching us around the fire with a beer would drink some Sangria. Like the taste alright. When older got into drinking some finer wine with the in-laws. It was expensive French he bought by the case. Got into drinking French Champagne and collecting the bottles as they were quite attractive to me. Name brands. Wife at the time was good for 1 glass. I was good for the rest. Cannot recall the brands now from a California(sparkling maker(Schramsberg) which was quite excellent. Read extensively about the region around Paris. Collected tulip and saucer glasses. Went to the Wine&Cheese Cellar local and on and etc...Still remember quite a lot. Like a good Amontillado fairly recently for our vacations, beach trips. Guess the truth is, I started drinking wine and loving it more and more. Times changed and went back to beer, all beer, cheap, high priced, homebrew. Fact is, have said more than intended and am not too proud to drink anything with anyone who were to offer as, I can relate to all people, anywhere, I have ever been. Educated or otherwise. Rich or poor. Have had a good life and do not wish to offend anyone whose paths I should cross. Not going to cull any friendly invites. Now as to shine. I like it with a beer chaser. Have had it on a few occasions. Was surprised to find it legal in some places when I went to the mountains for vacations for a couple of recent years. in the summertime for the 4th. Was amazed at all the flavors. Just absolutely love the weather at high elevations. Pineapple....mmm sounds gooooood. Nowadays, less is more for me.
  15. There was bottles of Mardi Gras Pineapple wine back then for $2 per bottle...not bad. It was Ripple and Boones Farm as well for the times were popular all over. Chianti won out at times with dinner. Oh, the good old days of summer. Crazy lazy days.
  16. Yes, Save your 15 minutes of fame for somewhere else. I am... What's the word? Thunderbird! What's the price? One dollar twice!
  17. Pretty shure they will have gear in the pipeline for some time. Dang...
  18. Even if I were there, which I considered earlier this year, I would not know myself. It may come down to experimenting. Hopefully someone will reply. Pics, will be nice when you get them.
