  1. Looks like a well placed and planned meeting place for a couple or a group then. Nan will just cry when she sees that Fuscia! Gary the deck really looks like spring has sprung. Thinking Mark's gotten that motor cranked by now. May be unloading his Klipsch! Keep up the good work Tarheel! Hope LF is enjoying the new Volvo. Nice to see repeaters and new faces here...it is all good!
  2. Welcome to the Klipsch forum. Do not know but, someone will be along!
  3. Not affil.: http://pensacola.craigslist.org/ele/5084719363.html BTW, there are some decent looking CF-4's looks listed by same seller for nice price, methinks. Deleted by the author Gone and gone
  4. Yes, I am. How do the speakers sound on am/fm or cd?
  5. Dang Matthew! Nice setup to be going! Good Fortune with sale!
  6. Alright, that is getting close. Guess if I had a bear as close as that, I would reconsider my earlier statement. Hardly an ideal situation. Sharks already have me paranoid about the water but, I see this may be no one way or the other as far as the issues. Sancho has an immediate answer to it. Enjoy the bass and deck system.
  7. Nothing like it in this world...enjoy don't you know!
  8. Friday for you that like it! I do except for work tomorrow. What am I saying, a working class hero os something to be. Tigerman, I have been using sugar in the raw for a couple of months in my coffee. The glycemic index is lower by a little bit. Went through a period when only drinking coffee black. Back in the day, I was able to get it even less refined but, good with coffee nevertheless. On another note, been hearing about black bear hunting special season in our area around October. Do not know of anyone having been injured so, may be because of population of black bears, some creating nuisance. If I asked a black bear, guessing they would say, increase in population of people. Wonder what the kids think about shooting down Smokey? Or even Yogi? Well, speaking for the bears, think they were here first in the domain.
  9. Can't say I gave it 100% ! Excuse me, cannot say you gave it 100% !
  10. Smoked shark is good Like eating some fish occasionally Been avoiding tuna some Fresh grouper, or snapper on a Captain's plate with hush pups, grits and a nice broiled grouper Cole slaw if it is good. Iced tea, sweetened with lemon or lime. Tea is really good with lime my sis in law taught me.
  11. Good idea...too much competition...
  12. Always liked his western Texas style cowboy boots, with a star. His son Dustin wore them too. Saw Dusty and Andre versus Pak Song and Tiger Tanaka...bloody dream match in person live.
  13. Now that you mention it, dusty did rap a bit for the fans..."You see Gordon Solie, my main man, the Great Malenko got his soup when he met Bill Graham, but I am going to make it impossible for him to drink soup with a straw, Gordon Solie"!
  14. It is hard to look at that array! What about great white Sancho...people stay out of the water, remember the JAW !
  15. Same idea, just the scale with the C band. BTW, did not know a Ku phase array was done but, it follows. Have not been keeping up on former career. : Thanks Bruce http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:yrfGz5xZS1AJ:http://www.ijrsa.org/Download.aspx%3FID%3D4702 PDF form top of page.
  16. Look strong for bookshelf: http://www.klipsch.com/xfs-floor-stand/details GFWS
  17. It is all good and almost certain I was not clear. The earlier C-band phased array mentioned was of a similar size as a solar panel, which was electronically steerable to the many different satellites of the Clarke orbit belt for the continental us, in this case. Like it's physical, earlier counterpart, the spherical antenna looking much like a baseball backstop found behind the catcher, the spherical was non-movable, and the different satellites were accessed by moving the feedhorn to receive adjacents satellites. Still on first cup so...
  18. It isn't questionable other than people have already been working on it. http://www.popsci.com/technology/article/2010-10/new-chip-turns-flat-antenna-arrays-satellite-signal-receivers-ditching-dish And the attachment is from a paper presented at the 2011 URSI symposium. Bruce Yes Bruce, I was speaking of a flat phased array antenna also. The one I was specifically referring to was a larger C-band being introduced in the 90's using similar technology as the smaller Ku array you showed me. I was speaking of solar panels that for all intents and purposes was auto-peaking on the sun for most efficiency. Questionable is whether such an array would be as efficient as one which physically tracked the sun by polar mounted solar array using the same or similar mount from a satellite dish mount which was speculating upon as a DIY project. Have seen solar farms using this repurposed from large dish idea. Only logical they would consider the static flat panel phased array antenna idea, to repurpose for solar. Drinking first cup so, hope it makes some sense. If not, I will drink a cup and try again. Thanks for the info. I find it interesting of course having been in the business for a while in my past.
  19. Bet they do sound good ! Nice Price too !
  20. Alright, have heard of them. Will include in search!
  21. Could see myself actually getting down from my pedestal and having an active hobby of some benefit and interest to me, like staying cool, lol Hardly original but a mod on a sat system polar mount with solar tracking would be more efficient. Do not like the outside part much anymore but, need to research if phased array panel technology exists. An interesting crossover or natural area of design to pursue, imlo. Having such an array makes it more convenient and low profile, and yes, more efficient if design is successful. Questionable
