  3. If you think the Chorus sounds good you should hear the Chorus II !
  4. Is that good or bad??? Vertical is Good ! Price is Bad !
  5. i paid 20,000 for the diatone and only 6500 for the marantz 20,000 what ? ( pennies )
  6. SANSUI 8080db is the best of best for the money IMHO. ( 85 wpc)
  7. Chorus II,s will definately give you the " WOW " factor you are looking for ! My H/T room is 14 X 22 with 4 K-horns and an Academy center. I use the short walls for fronts and rears and the sound is INCREDIBLE !
  8. If the Chorus II,s are as nice as you say then grab em as they dont show up at that price very often. You will definately not need a sub with them. You can always pick up a receiver later. K-horns are my favorite and Chorus II,s are my second choice.
  9. Chris is on to something here, listen to him ! I had been looking for a 3-recliner H/T group to replace my heavy fabric covered couch for 8 months and finally found one. I had my system just the way I wanted it and was chaning out furniture. They were leather and connected in a radius, they just killed the bass in that room. I gave it 2 days and switched everything back that was in there before and the bass came right back. Dont ask me why but everything in your room affects the sound.

  11. Saw this and sent the guy a message to see which model they were as I didnt recognize them. He later sent back message and said they were KLH-20,s and they were claimed already. That sure didnt surprise me once I found out what they were. Heres a link to his ad. http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/ele/1981961038.html
  12. Hands Down, Chorus II,s will sing and easy on placement. Most bang for the buck IMO !
  13. Tall and skinny hands down everytime !!
  14. Its all in the name SPEAKER FRITZ ! He is a speaker GURU, thats how he knows !
  15. From 1971 until 2005 they never show Birch Raw as being offered. These being 1980 Belles they definately fall into that catagory. There is no RB for raw birch it actually show BR for birch raw but not in a Belle.
  16. I do not see it, please post a link ! How can you carry 2 different speakers with the same name ?
  17. quadklipsch. What kind of doctor are you ? " hey im not a mathematician , im a doctor , but i got your point , one hundred percent !!!! you are faced with the typical klipsch--- in your face----bright type----very revealing and ----forward sound ----of the KLIPSCH
  18. LOL Is that some kind of trick question? Stormin, nice catch !
  19. Sorry to say it but in my opinion the Chorus II sounds better than the Chorus I. I believe it has more to do with the passive radiator over the ported cabinet. I myself dont like the sound of the Chorus I as it sounds flat to me.
  20. I have 4 sets of Chorus II and IMHO they are the best bang for the buck in the entire heritage line !
  21. Enough said, you have your impression so buy more reference speakers !
  22. Excluding tubes its a no brainer ~~ Sansui, Sansui and more Sansui ! I use them in two rooms with Chorus II and love the sound. The bass is incredable ! I had Sansui,s in all 4 of my listening rooms until I got introduced to tubes. I have not tried the tubes on the Chorus II yet. You can pick these up for $100 to $400 depending on how much power you want, my favorite is the 8080db,
  23. Hey Scott, Got everything with no problems at all. The pair sounds absolutely fantastic. Since they got here I have been hooking them up in each system looking for the one they make sound the best. As far as condition I wouldnt be afraid to say they are as new in the box ! It looks like I am going to have to change to a MC cartringe in the TT as the MM just doesnt give me the dynamics and volume that I like. Thanks Again, Don
