  1. Hey Pete! As you know, I have a Ton of old KP-600 gear. What you may not know is that besides the KP-600's and all my TSCM's, I also used to have A bunch of MCM-1900 stuff. I had five MWM doubles and four MWM singles along with a ton of other MCM-1900 pieces. I also had a pair of KP-480's among others. I also used to have like 43 separate spare 15 inch Klipsch drivers. Your 15 inch drivers in question do look to me like the K-48 drivers from my KP-480's Bass Bins to me. Those speakers were pristine and 100% untouched. One thing I have learned from the KP-600's is that the early KP-600's had a split pair off K-60 drivers that were replaced in newer KP-600's with a single K-432 driver for greater power handling. Also, the earlier KP-600's had flat magnet K-46 drivers like your drivers in question, where as newer KP-600's have the improved "Bump Back" K-46 which allows for more former excursion and better power handling. Not saying what I am going to say next is so but, I suspect your drivers in Question may be earlier versions of the K-48 ??? Rog
  2. Klipschorn's Love, love, love 20 feet between them. This also goes for Jubilee's. Roger
  3. Simichrome is best for polishing chrome. Use Weanol or Flitz for Polished Aluminum. I have all three and have for about 20 years at least. Rog
  4. Richard, Four coats of Silver base coat, four coats of House of Kolors Candy Apple Red, Six Coats of Clear... Rog
  5. 1995 first generation, lowered 2 inches front and back plus another 2 inches at the seat. She has 14 coats of paint, a 3 inch over braced and chromed rear swing arm, 20mm rear tire, billet rims front and back, a 3 inch over chrome molly drive shaft, aftermarket 30mm Keihin Flat Slide Race carbs and aftermarket intake. Aftermarket solid thin wall stainless headers and cans, one of only two custom sets made. She has transmission work done and an air shifter. She also has over $4,000 in her nitrous system alone. Fully ported heads with larger Titanium Valves. Aftermarket clutch, ignition, MSD wires, aftermarket coils and timing retard for the giggle gas, plus a ton of chrome and other stuff. I even have a custom flamed seat with a woman's vibrator built into the passenger seat that is hooked to the ignition system so vibrator speed increases with RPM. Aftermarket rear shocks and custom springs and gold emulators in the front forks. Larger rear single disc with 4 piston billet chromed caliper, custom front disks with two chromed billet front calipers, custom brake master cylinders, all braded stainless steel lines, and a hell of a lot more!!! 6. Please, a lot more close up of the details of your nickel plating. Did you polish and Nickle plate the pot metal corners as well ??? I have four split La Scalas and a pair of Pro Heresy slant monitors that are all getting veneered with Santos Rosewood for my daughter and I am trying to decide on redoing an exact original finish or something like a polished nickel finish with the dark wood veneer ??? Roger
  7. I have well over $10,000 in custom chrome plating alone on my Yamaha V-Max Motorcycle. I have a total of $27,000 just in modifications to it... Rog
  8. I sold the RC-7 center channel a long time ago.... Sorry! Roger
  9. Bobby, I don't allow my wife an opinion on my speakers! She has free rain to do anything she wants in her Kitchen. She has free rain to make any choices she wants on the bedroom. She has free choice of anything she wants in the bathroom. GDmit, I have the right to make ANY decisions I want on one room and she doesn't get ANY input !! PS; I am having those splits veneered in Santose Rosewood veneer for a system for my Daughter. So far I have four matching split La Scalas with trim and a pair of Pro Klipsch Heresy slant monitors with trim, all to be veneered eventually in Santose Rosewood Venner for her that she picked out in person her self. Roger Gordon
  10. Gary, The K-400 or K-401 La Sccala or Klipschorn Horn is capable of going down to 400 Hz. Male Vocals can also go down as low as 300 Hz. Better to handle as many of these vocals through the Midrange Squawker than the Woofer, so just make sure you have the proper La Scala or Klipschorn cross over as the Belle does not use a 400 or 401 horn as you already know. Also, the K-43E Pro La Scala has much stronger Mid Bass than the K-33E for this as well. Roger Gordon
  11. Bobby, Have you considered a single Split La Scala ? That is the best option as far as II am concerned. If a La Scala is too tall, you can set the top section dead center on top of a milk crate and set the bass bin off center to either side of the top hat since the bass is less directional. I need a single Split La Scala with trim like one of these if you are interested in splitng a pair. Roger Gordon
  12. Slant Monitors also fit perfectly in a corner at a perfect 45 degree angle, just like Klipschorns and this increases their bass output as well. Rog
  13. Hey Gary !!! Both Belle and LaScala only play down to 55 Hz but they are not even working as a Horn below 100 Hz because the Horn is way to short for below 100 Hz. Cross your speakers at 100 Hz and hire Carl to build you one or a pair of F-20 DIY horn suns. Problem with dialogue instantly solved. Also, did you change out the cross overs in your Belle's ?? The Belle Cross over crosses the midrange too high for a K-400 horn... Roger
  14. Hey Eldon !! My Velodyne HGS-18 II Subs were on shag Carpet and the X-Mas on the Cone Excursion is so much that even though they weigh 105 pounds each, I believe the boxes move some on the carpet and affected the bass very little. I put spikes on the subs to punch through the carpet and anchor my subs. YMMV !! Rog
  15. Eldon, That looks like a straight version of you !! Rog
  16. About as annoying as a constantly nagging woman Carl !!
  17. Hello Everyone !! Just wanted to make a post about how positive my experience has been on buying from Mark Diven. I haven't even fully completed this transaction and Mark stands out as a a truly class act, and at the very least I wanted to make a public Thankyou to him! Sincerely, Roger Gordon
  18. No Airplanes. Two Bus Campers, a large pontoon, three jet skis, 800 Polaris Ranger, 900 Polaris Ranger, 1,000 Polaris RZR 4 seater with high lift kit, bigger rims and tires, 9 speaker stereo, metal roof cover, GPS, backing camera, turn signals, headlights, three snorkel's, Toys and an arm candy wife that is real smart. 19. Danny, my best buddy Farms over 4,500 acres, has a 400,000 chicken egg farm he owns. He owns five semis, two newer 3/4 ton diesel pickups, one newer, top model Jeep Grand Cherokee, it has some word denoting the top model that lights up in the door sills, a 2020 model $50,000 Jeep with over $15,000 in aftermarket extras, a small black two seater Mercedes with convertible hard top, a 1978 Z-28 with a 496 cubic inch big block, turbo 400 and 12 bolt and the Viper. I think he can afford it... He also pushes over 100 lots of snow in the winter, play the market, his Jeeps liscense plate is "BUY PUTS" and the Vipers plate was bought by his wife and is "BD BABY" and yes, it is her name for him and means what you think. He also has three large gun safes and over $100,000 in his master bathroom, plus two cabins in the Smokies, 14 acres in the Smokies he is planning on developing into a camp grounds, a Condominium beach side on Daytona Beach and a time share at Disney World, and no, he isn't strapped at all. Roger
  20. Either / Starting Fluid in a Can also shoots a straight stream and is Cheaper than either wasp spray or brake fluid and kills instantly when the insect is hit. It also has the added fun of adding a lighter on nests !!
