  1. Hey Adam, you're correct. Deal with the room acoustics now and see how your system improves, before upgrading anything. It will make the biggest difference. Keep us post and there are no such things as "stupid questions", so ask away. Dennie
  2. Soooooo.........? Did you get them? Huh? Well, did you? What, are we supposed to wait all night??? Come on Rebreg, give us a hint man!!!! ........................ [] Alright, I'll have to take a couple of these..... And remember...... Dennie ...... [8] [8]

Dennie Dennie, Do you remember that Doc Watson was featured on the NGDB's album WILL THE CIRCLE BE UNBROKEN? Absolutely! I've also got a CD or two of his and a few on vinyl. [<)] Dennie

Here you go Gary..... (the Klipsch Server Thanks You!! []) To post a picture that is hosted elsewhere: Find the picture you want to use, I use Photobucket, but there are many, many free and paid hosting sites. I often just "borrow" or "Hot Link" pictures from the web. WIth amazon or most pictures on the web, right click on the picture and choose COPY IMAIGE LOCATION. If you're using Photobucket or the like, copy the DIRECT LINK. Then in your reply box, click the ICON that looks like a picture of a tree, two Icons the left of the "smilies" Icon. A box should pop open. Where it says IMAGE URL right click and PASTE your image location or direct link. You can change the size or leave it as is. Then Hit INSERT and your picture should show up in the post. I hope this helps, Dennie
  9. Very Cool, thanks for letting us know what you went with. Yeah, the Shure isn't for every table and there are often "other" choices and my reason for questioning which "cart" you went with. I've also heard good things about the Ortofon 2m Red, but have never used one. Thanks for the update and comments. Enjoy the Music..... [8] [8] [Y] Dennie [<)]
  10. Great for you Edroom, They do look great, and sound even better!!! I was blown away when I finally got it set up with a new cart. If you dont have a manual you can download it from the Yamaha web site. Set up was very easy, but the table has to be perfectly level, make sure the stylus is set at 50mm. Also from what I have read the feet on these units tend to breakdown with age. I found a nice DIY foot replacemant over at audiokarma and posted picks here of the process. Good Luck with set up and let us know your impressions!!! Did you tell us which "New Cart" you went with? ...... Dennie []
  11. Welcome to the Klipsch Forums Gago, we're glad you're here! [<)] You will probably get a more Technical response in the "Technical" section ---------> CLICK HERE Most of us believe in using our ears to figure out what we like and dislike, but I know there are a lot of people who like looking at "specs." too. Nothing wrong with that. But when all else fails.... trust your ears! [] Again, Welcome!! Dennie
  12. A sad day indeed. He left us with a lot of Beautiful Music! R.I.P. Robin and Thanks for the Memories! Photo taken in 2008 Dennie

  15. I saw a pair on craigslist that looked just like that. Guy was asking $500 firm. Thank goodness I don't need them, but I did think twice at the price. Also, I've seen much worse condition pull in $500 -$600. As Dave said, if they sound good, they are good. You can fix MOST ugly! (I got really drunk one night and picked up this "chick" .......well, you get the point! []) Keep us posted, Dennie
  16. Happy Birthday Craig!!! ...................... Dennie
  17. .................... I use the Panamax 5100 and I leave it on 24/7, it has saved my gear twice that I know of, from electricial storms. Lightning hit near by and the Overvoltage light came on and shut everything down. After about 3 seconds, everything powered back up, no problem. Money well spent! Dennie
  18. Smart thinking. The 3 way all horn speaker is just amazing! Dennie
  19. Congratulations on the RARE find! Funny how things like this pop up every now and then. $300? A Steal!!! [<)] Keep us posted on how you like them. Dennie
  20. Welcome Serge! We're glad you're here. [<)] I can't speak to the "Danley's", but here are a couple recent threads that might help.... Heresey III's to La Scala's Heresy III's to La Scala's problem solved Dennie
