  1. Grizzly makes some real nice equipment, I have the Powermatic PM2000, nice saw, and I love mine. If by any chance you will be building speaker enclosures the WW II is a great blade, but sawing the mulit layered plywood will gum it up real fast. After sawing through a blind screw, I have starting using a cheaper blade and when it gets dull, use them as targets, they make a nice sound. Love your new toy, be careful and safe CB

  4. Mercy, I didn't know we have all these experts. I am going to try them all, I'll get back to you Thanks guys cb
  5. Does anyone have a good method of hard boiling eggs without using a chisel to get the shell off. I have tried about everything and the shell still comes off in little pieces and stuck to the white of the egg. Is it the redneck chicken eggs that I get up in the mountains??? Any help is appreciated. Thanks cb
  6. I knew there was a reason I haven't does this before. Thanks cb
  7. Then, I guess you can't use one for a three way system, you would need two? cb
  8. I know this has been addressed a million times, I'm old and forget a lot. Are the Behringer active crossovers like the DEQ2496, I remember that number from somewhere. Thanks for humoring an old man. CigarBum
  9. I like naked horns, don't like to cover them up with grills. CB
  10. Would this thing be any good for 2 channel, can it keep up with the music??? cb
  11. Can anyone tell me anything about this sub, its got to be 20+ years old. Is it worth saving or just trash it, need to be re-foamed. Appreciate any help. Thanks CB
  12. Depending how fancy you want to get, One that works is nothing more that a soda bottle and little duct tape. With a 22, can't hear it, with 45 just a little noise. Again depending what you are going to use it for, it really doesn't matter., CigarBum
  13. I still think the Cornscala and the Khorn are great speakers, I own both. There are just to many variables to say one is really better that the other. CB
  14. And they call me crazy for moving up here in the mountains where nothing happens. And if it does happen, it is taken care of with very little intervention. Come to the mountains and play with the big furry things. Stay safe Chris, see you soon. CB
  15. Real happy for you, now you need to roll some tubes............ cb
  16. They are both great speakers, one is not better than the other, they are just different. cb
  17. Well, I'm not really sure how small, no matter where you put they sound good. The picture is of my newly modified Belles with I guess what they call a ALK Jr. crossover. Richard was not far from wrong in the background is the toilet, but at present the milk is the sweet spot, but just got to turn them 90 degrees and you have another good listening spot cb
  18. The G-Man sure fixed me up with some really sweet tubes. I changed out the tubes in the VRD and the Peach, only listened for about an hour, but, clearer, more detailed, better soundstage. I guess I was one of the dis-belivers, if you get the good ones, it is well worth the money. Roll on. cb
  19. Well, I haven't heard anything bad about the JBL drivers. I guess I will have to find a use for my 2440. I guess, in general, that the JBL drivers do a pretty good job. I have a pair of 2482 in my DBB with a 225hz wood horn, talk about sweet, and the gentleman who said that if you turn then up, they will take your head off, but what a way to go. cb
  20. Are the 2441 a later model of the JBL 2440, I have a pair and haven't thought of an application yet. CB
  21. Still got a spare bed here, no need to spend $$$$$ if you don't need to. cb
  22. I'll trade you the things in your yard for the things in mine.
  23. How about that. I still have a bottle of that old nasty Markers Mark, you'll have to check it to see if it is any good. That's right, Chris likes that job. Good deal Man. CB
