Not as cool as a Harley but I found this frame a few years ago and came up with some fenders and white walls. It's my little "rat rod" bike. I took this picture at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah, wife and I went out to see some pretty fast rigs. Notice the drink holder up front? []

Is the guitar a D-40? I sitll have my F-30R from '74. Built like a tank, as all Guilds, but has a sweet sound.Bruce Bruce, I wish it was a D-40. I bought that guitar when I was 17 and I could not afford that one so I bought the D-4 model.

After 21 years of playing the guitar I thought I'd buy a ukulele. I bought this little Cordoba uke today.....it's so fun to play.

I have Chorus and 5.5 and for direct 2 channel listening, they are very different. Mids and highs are way better with the Chorus along with the low end as well. The bass just seems a little better with the Chorus. The 5.5s work really well as mains for a HT set up. I guess the best way to say it is that the Chorus' have much more detail. If you can get the 5.5s for a good price I say go for it.

I bought some Fortes just like that once. I hit them with some lemon oil and 0000 steel wool and put the grills in the bath tub with warm water and liquid detergent and they cleaned up nice. Hope this helps.

I've heard the same with my LaScalas and my Heresy IIs. My late wife even commented on the HIIs after I got them. She was in the kitchen while some music was on and said they sounded the same, even in the other room. Bruce Bruce, the LS for sure.....when I had them placed in my primary listening room, you could walk upstairs or go into any other room and still be able to hear detail and clarity. Awesome speakers.

Having that live sound at home is amazing.

I paid $600 for mine a few years ago all stock. With the networks being updated and if they are not too far away, they might be worth it. Tell the seller you'll give him $700 cash.....he'll sell 'em.

There is a member who says he keeps his LS playing very low all through the night while he sleeps.....they are awesome speakers.

We killed our cable a year or two ago and I don't miss it all. The extra cash paid our property tax.[] If I want to catch a game or something special, I can always find a live stream. Then I just run an audio cable to whichever system In the house where I am watching and I have great sound. Now If I can just figure out how to get rid of our internet bill?[^o)]

Heresys and a good sub is a great combo.....and you'll save a little space.
