They are Poplar trees. Not real good firewood for the fireplace because its real prone to popping. Not a real strong hardwood. These trees often break in windstorms when others remain unharmed. Lots of furniture made with it.

Jeff, I totally get where you are coming from. Lost my mother to cancer (Non Hodgkins Lymphoma). She did everything possible to fight it and there was nothing graceful about her death. A drug called Vidaza took away her mobility/independence months before her passing. See, my mom didn't die from NHL, but rather Leukemia. A side effect from her many chemo/radiation treatments over the years. Mom was house supervisor (RN) at the hospital near us. Having witnessed so many people come and go. She told us what was about to happen to her before it happened right up to her last day. She told me one day as her time neared "It's not always easy coming into this world, it's not always easy leaving it either". Boy was she right. We live out in the sticks. When I put an old dying dog down it is very quick, simple, and humane. My mom was tortured for months. Hate to say it, but when it's my time, I want to go like my dogs.

Had a PET scan last week. Having another CT next week. Mass is 2"x2" and my doctor who is a Surgical Oncologist specializing in Neuroendocrine at UAB. He pretty much said it has to come out. As far as whats the plan after that, I'm sure we'll discuss it.

My goodness. Just diagnosed with a Neuroendocrine (cancer) mass in my Mesentery and constricting my small bowel. I've been having trouble eating and now I know why. Apparently this is rare. Cancer touches everybody.

Yeah, so a guy posted those Belles on Facebook or Craigslist and a flipper type guy bought em for I think $800.00. A week goes by and then he posted em for sale asking like $1,500.and I called him and said that he just beat me to them and that I wanted those for myself. I asked what would be the least he could take and if I recall correctly, I paid him $1,200.00. This where it gets good. I've really enjoyed them. They are the best speakers I will ever own and the most beautiful speaker design Paul ever made in my opinion. All that to say: Marvel, if you want, you can come get this speakers for what I paid for them. I haven't seen a pair of solid Belles on here for that kinda money in a looong time. Anybody else interested will have to pay $1,500.00. Which as we all know is a deal. There are pictures of them on the forum. Don't know if I can find them, but I could post new ones I guess.:)

Thanks for the thoughts on this. With the digital age here, I guess I thought the "newer" description might suffice. I have deeds of course that include the proper legal description on these. I've owned these for a long time, oldest being 30 years. I don't think I need new warranty deeds for my purpose. I could possibly scan the documents into my PC with optical character recognition and proof read it all. Then write a Quit Claim Deed from myself to my wife and me using a combined PDF. Marvel's idea about asking the courthouse is good. We are a small county. Typically there is no line for example and workers are helpful.

I own 3 parcels of land. Each one has a long legal description. Our county uses PPIN #s and Parcel #s for the description when billing me for taxes. Could I use these same #s for the legal description on a simple Quit Claim Deed? If it matters, I want to add my wife's name to these parcels.

Glad you are enjoying the 301s. Low end on the 301s is 50hz +-3db where the Chorus 2 is down to 39hz. The 301s do sound really good at higher volumes IMO. At normal listening levels though, I prefer the Chorus II.
