  1. Yes I agree How does a Forte II compare with this speaker? I was thinking of trying a pair to run off a tube amp for 2 channel but I have never heard them. I like the size, a smaller version of the Chorus II which I used to have and wish I still did.
  2. I agree also, plenty of low end with my tubes.
  3. Do they plan on selling these anytime soon? I haven't been on here much lately so I may have missed this.
  4. Picked up and hooked up. They were in excellent shape, original owner, older gentleman, nice home. They are surprising, nice tone and plenty of low end. Using my low watt tube amp, wow. I am not going to leave them there they are the beginning of a home theater set-up. That said what is a good center for this, I have had a KLF C-7 before with Chorus II's and it was impressive.
  5. Sounds good but it would be a long drive
  6. I will be picking them up tomorrow morning.
  7. Craigslist add and the seller is out of town and not very responsive to my e-mails besides saying he won't be back until Wednesday. I told him I would take them but no response besides that.
  8. Any feedback on this model? I might be looking at a pair locally but I have no first hand experience with this speaker.

    Klipsch?

I have had and followed Klipsch for close to 40 years and I have never seen these before. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Klipsch-Floor-Standing-Speakers-W-K-33-P-K-55-V-K-77/201708386768?_trksid=p2047675.c100011.m1850&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D38530%26meid%3Ddc4a8e5aed8d45929d546355e8ce27c0%26pid%3D100011%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D7%26sd%3D122190679073
  10. Holy klipsch wall, Jimbo. I have done the same thing with Khorns ChorusII's and heresyIII'S. Also some RFII's and Cornwall II's. I thought I was the only crazy one.
  11. I bought four pair of these and ended up needing only three. These are brand new, never used. These were a huge improvement over what I thought were pretty decent silver interconnects that they replaced. Will take 135.00 shipped CONUS. http://www.riteaudiocables.com/styled-3/index.html
  12. I would not be concerned with the lack of the labels, the stamped serial numbers match and everything looks original. I think you found what you were looking for, the price seems appropriate and they are close to you. I would take the ride if I were you. I had to sell mine when we moved and miss them terribly.
  13. For sale ZSB Zen Switch Box. It has gold knobs and the optional stepped attenuator (100.00 option). New cost 459.00 350.00 OBO shipped CONUS.
  14. For Sale is a Decware ZBOX tube buffer. http://www.decware.com/newsite/zbox.htm I bought this unit for a second system that I am no longer going to be doing. I plugged it in and used it for a couple days and it sounded fantastic. It is an excellent unit but I just don't need it and could use the funds for some other upgrades I have in mind. I am asking 450.00 OBO shipped to conus.
  15. https://community.klipsch.com/index.php?/topic/163563-zebra-speakers-for-sale/ Here you go.
  16. I have a Decware Rachael, 6 watts per channel, sound is very excellent, but like you I have decided to have a little more power, probably don't need it, but I ordered a Torii Junior, 20 watts per channel. I will say these amps are very clear with a beautiful full sound, and very very detailed.
  17. Music was such a huge part of my life growing up and is still a huge priority in my life. I have an 11 year old daughter and I have made sure she grows up appreciating what music can add to your life. Great to see this post.
