  1. I have a C-15 that I got from Audio Classics about 3 months ago for about $1000, shipping included. It's a stripped down version of the C-40 without all the extra tape loops etc. It was a buy back from a dealer that was selling inventory. Like new. These guys have lots of Mac stuff, and it is always as described, plus they warranty their equipment.
  2. Here's the jpeg that got deleted when the website switchover happened...Mr Blorry...Yes I have a tv, but rarely watch it...prefer to listen to music or read...or both....The tube amp is a Mac MC75 that I'm using for my center channel...Mac solid state pre and amp for the corners....matches up really well
  3. Blues....Deana Bogart, "Crossing Borders"
  4. For the bassets music is divided into two categories....stuff that makes us howl and stuff that doesn't make us howl....anything with flutes really pisses them off....they seem to enjoy KISS best, especially the unplugged CD.....they were appreciative of the dynamating of the squakers...
  5. Always a work in progress.....
  6. And while we're at it...Kate Smith's "God Bless America"....Who is Pink Floyd?
  7. Here's a couple....Santana, Supernatural and Chris Rea, Road to Hell...check em out
  8. Maybe they have a new tee-shirt tied up in r&d...Doesn't seem like it would take a year to get them back in stock...Makes me wonder how hard they are trying....WE WANT OUR KLIPSCH TEE-SHIRTS AND KLIPSCH FUZZY DICE TO HANG FROM OUR REARVIEW MIRRORS!!!!!!WE'RE MAD AS HELL AND WE ARE NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!! Seriously, when do you guys plan on getting any more shirts?
  9. Most of the promotional products on the site are out of stock. The frustrating part is that they don't tell you this until after you have entered all your info, including credit card. Only then do they inform you that it is backordered and offer to notify you when the product comes in. About a year now, and I haven't received any e-mails. Anyone? On the other hand McIntosh has a products catalog that sells at their cost for the sake of promotion. Free shipping also. Klipsch...if you are going to offer something then do it, if not then don't. Alot of us Klipsch junkies are jonesing for a tee-shirt or coffee cup. How about it??
  10. Mr. Blorry....Thanks for the tip on Flim....Going to order from CD Now...They have a limited edition of Tricycle released in 1994 in addition to the original 1982 release...better recording?...anyone know?...anyone interested in jazz, classical, or chamber music should check out the custom recordings done by the folks at Stereophile Magazine...outstanding...go to their site and click on recordings...CD test discs are cool too...
  11. I have some old 45's that I'll sell you cheap
  12. Congrats Ray....You've reached "No Life" status
  13. Anyway kids...sorry to get back to the thread topic....Do you have enough folks to split these drivers Al?
  14. Is anyone going to bid on this??? I might pick this up if I can get it for a reasonable price. Would really like their Stentor sub, but am a few $$$$ short. Ray...do you think this one will keep up with my k-horns and Belle? My room is pretty ideal for K-horns already with solid, tight corners. My bass is pretty damn fine now, but have read about the complaints about really low bass response with Klipsch. I think with "normal" listening levels the Stadium would be ok. Just wondering if I really need it. Would be nice to be able to try it....oh well...Ray..does your sub give you noticeable results? Anyway.....Adam.... IMHO I would go with a REL at this point. They have targeted the "musical market" and have in my opinion done the best job with accurate bass. But they are $$$$. Personally I am saving my $$$ till I can afford something that is a real improvement over what I am getting with my K-horns. I can tell you that in my old house I had to build one false corner, and although it improved the low end, there is no subsitute for a real solid wall with a good fit. With less than ideal corners, any decent sub will improve things I would think??? By decent, I mean one that is fast enough and musical rather than the plodding monsters typically marketed fot HT.
