Looks like a flashy Bladerunner.

Okay the more I think about it the more I want to dispatch my KLF rig and move up to a Forte/Heresy rig. Presently I have a pair of Heresy II's which will incorporate to rear duty so do I go with Fortes or Forte II's? BTW I plan on 3 Fortes for LCR. Any suggestions?

If your going to explore first unplug and remove the amp plate. After all hex or torx screws are removed gingerly un seat the plate from the box there is a gasket there and you'll need to remove the connector for the power light (has small tab) then remove the speaker wires from the woofer. after that go after the woofer from the front.

"I prefer not to open the backs of the speaker" Negative! you'll gain access to the magnets by removing the drivers from the front of the C7. If you wanted to get in through the back just give it to UPS for a couple of hours.

don't forget to take off the jumpers off the back posts if you bi wire.

See if you can borrow a set of bi wires from your local shop and let your ears decide.

Didn't care for St. Thomas seamed like a good hangout for fugitves and tax evaders. St. Martin was nice. My wife and I did a 14 day San Diego to Fort Lauderdale transited the Panama Canal. That was incredible. Lots of cruises out of Port Canaveral as well Miami/Ft Lauderdale the Bahamas are just a stones throw away.

Last night I had enough of a rattle in my LF10 so I got up enough nerve to do a little interal snooping and found that one of the circut boards was a bit loose a little coaxing later and rattle begone! Well this is where I ran into a problem I disconnected the +/- wires from the woofer without marking them. Is there a simple way to check phase and if it's off would flipping the phase switch on the back correct it? Still learning!

thanks for the replys. Picked up the S&V disc mainly for speaker set up. I have a pesky rattle in the wall when the sub hits at a certian Hz. So I gotta make a new cable and see if I can work around the rattle.

My wife and I hold a get together at our apt. Guess this is the 4th year for it. We always offer free lodging/breakfast for our friends that get to festive for New Years. Just feel a tad safer at home no drunk drivers to deal with.
