No one is making plasma anymore. OLED is the only way to go. LG is getting better at it and another year or so i may jump on a OLED.

OLED would be my only choice if my plasma bit the dust. I could never live with LED. Just a shame there is no choice today like there was in the 90's.

Or just buy my 2000 hour 60VT60 plasma. No other display will touch it unless you want to take a chance on LG and OLED.

$500 or so i would say if they are the older RF82ll versions.

Seems AVR's don't even have pre outs anymore unless you spend a 1000 or more.

I sold the SB13U a while back. Just sounded bloated in my room. Have a small SB1000 that does as good as my SB12 NSD did.

I will try the SB version.

I hope it works better than my OPPO83 that has been sent back to OPPO for repair once and needs to go back for the same thing. I plan to do away with all 4 of my BD players and go to the new UHD players as i plan on maybe getting a OLED next year if they get cheaper and better than what they are today.

My speakers have always been crammed in a small room slammed up in the corners. I never seen any speaker have good bass without a sub. Sub really helps.

My other OPPO 83 has been trouble free.

I am for real. I am not paying to get it fixed again or paying to ship it to OPPO twice. I will just use it till it stops all together. I have to reach back and unplug it every few times it powers up to unlock it. I plan to redo all my stuff and get a new OLED and UDH players next year.

My old Pioneer Elite 05 FD and a non Elite 51FD players are still working fine from 2008.

It has to go into repair per OPPO. I am just gonnan throw it out. Better to buy a cheap brand.

Never had that prob. It just locks up on hello. Sent it in once before and it started doing it agian. I would rather just take a sledge hammer to it then spend more money on it.

I know i need to replace my 83 that has never worked right.

Wished i could find some 804's local to replace my CM10 S2's i just sold for my bedroom setup. I would even buy the 803's if you were in FL.

I don't think any LED is good with it's banding and flashlighting and motion blur. OLED also has it share of problems and cost way too much. Glad i have a perfect working 60vt60 plasma. There is just nothing out there i would wanna buy today.

Not sure now. Looks like i am buying and putting around 10k into a telescope i may buy. Before around 4k would have been my limit.

Bedroom set up. Not sure about the center. Would love to find some B&W 804's used in my area. RF7ll's never seem to pop up in my area. I am in the Tampa FL area.
