What would be a reasonable amount of receiver watts to push a pair of KG- 5.5 75 Watt amp?

tried to pick up a couple items from that dude on craigs he just don't deal! Had a pair of the forte II's kept em for a couple of months never really liked the sound thought they were weak JMHO......

Had my CF-4s for about 6 months and picked up a pair of chorus II and sent the CF-4s packing. Fronts are now LaScalas, center Chorus II and rears KLF-30's I think the sound is heavenly............ picked up a sweet pair of KG 5.5 and am very impressed with them so far

actually a good price for the pair look to be in very nice condition

had a pair for one day went back the next day traded em in for the RF-83........

I had a mint pair of Mahogany CF-4 series 1 and was not over impressed sold them for 900 ... later got a hold of black mint KLF-30 and they would be my pick over the CF-4's the 30's just jump out at you more and in my opinion have a better sound stage and the highs are clearer. but each to his own my ears vote 30's

How can I check for watt output on my XL600? Is there a commercial device easily hooked up to check this?

N/A........ LOL Chicago craigs, might be a little HIGH! Klipsch Chorus, 1989, oiled oak, consecutive serial numbers, this is by far the finest pair of Klipsch speakers from the late 80's era that I have seen, cabinets are mint-not a mark, grills are mint, drivers are mint, come with shipping boxes, I can send pictures if you want but they will be of showroom condition speakers $1700
