  1. Many Congratulations on the acquistion of Palladiums !!
  2. Welcome gsxrfun86, I think anything above 2500+ is a good offer. Next it depends on the condition of the khorns as well as the buyer. I don't own a khorn, but often see that new owner re-building at least the crossovers as capacitors have dried out. It's really admireable and nice to see that khorns have not lost their top place in current day and time of tiny tiny speakers! Good luck with your sale.
  3. It's extremely difficult to let it go, especially for us hoarders who're in love with them... but, at some point we've to become wise and pass it on to right people who'll cherish rather not knowing what's going to happen to these precious...
  4. New Reference Premiere RP-250S and RP-240S on the horizon.. avialable March 2, 2015 http://www.klipsch.com/reference-premiere-surround-speakers
  5. Not sure, how RF-83 stack up to Reference Premiere RP-280F... If they're step up then it's a steal for a comparable price...
  6. RP-250S and RP-240S in Reference Premiere line will be availale starting March 2, 2015 per Klipsch website. http://www.klipsch.com/reference-premiere-surround-speakers
  7. I bet you won't as there's nothing that'll come close in this package from Klipsch (no offence to Heritage and Reference lines). It's kind a piece of art!
  8. Terry, just wanted say that I'm so sorry to hear for your loss. I've just loss my dad around month ago. He was dad and mom for a while, and now with dad passing away I feel being orphan. World wasn't this lonely, but... That said, I don't have many words to comfort you, as saying "my condolonces" is NOT going to fill that void. My prayers with your family in this difficult time.
  9. I'm interested if the price is right. This is not for resale. I'm tempted to experince them to see how they sound with the rest of the Klipsches. It'll be a pick-up being a fellow Michiganian, but most probably one-by-one to carefully get them to the new home !! Terri, Please PM if they're still available. Thanks!
  10. Lol, not wish to start the war here, you're going to disagree to RC-64 II, which you've not heard Strictly speaking for HT, it's all about center channel from where you're going to hear dialogues and base via sub-woofer, rest is providing directional sound to create the 3D sound effect One of my colleague, who suffered with "muffled" movie dialogues. Moved around the center channel multiple times. When he heard the RC-64 II, he couldn't belive how clear, dynamic and punchy it was. Btw., I've no affiliation with Klipsch, but just stating the fact after few years of experience - in fact since Klipsch introduced RC-64 II
  11. Not sure if you have a chance to audition with high end Denon. Marantz is bit more laid back than Denon, but that's just how my ears hear!
  12. Indeed !! Patience is the virtune !!! Keep us posted once you hook them up... Don't forget to post pics...

    need advise

It's you who needs to agree and like the sound - Who cares for the rest of the world !!! Somehow, I'm biased to Marantz or Denon line of receivers with 0.05% THD. In general, If I were you then like to complement horn's brighness with a laid back (swee sounding) amplifier. Just take your speakers to nearby "audio shop" and audition them until you get tired of listening your known-loved music and movie sequences. Which ever combination sounds good to you that's the receiver you should go after
  14. Congratulations! Certainly nice and clean look. I've auditioned RF 42 II, 52 II, 62 II, 82 II and it's certainly is a upgrade for you with RP-260F. That said new Reference Premier series seems a step up from rest of Reference II series (except RF-7 II and RC-64 II). Well done Klipsch!
  15. Okay. Keep us posted when you replace the mobo... I'm very biased to ASUS, but Gigabyte is not bad... All the best!
  16. Upgrade Priority: #1 Amplifier (AVR) - see if you can get one with latest and greatest technology and 0.05% THD #2 Center Channel - HT is 50% Center Channel (e.g. RC-64 II), 25% bass via Subwoofer or Big Speakers for mains, rest % for R,L,RL,RR (if possible add FWL, FWR, SRR, SRL) Good Luck and Enjoy !!
  17. If I understand you correctly, CPU fan is working correctly, however for some reasons CPU temp reading is ZERO. CPU fan is typically PWM driven and varies the speed dependent on the temperature of the CPU. There're few OEM or after market application available to map the fan to temperature. However, if your CPU temp is showing zero the fan won't be turned on unless you map the fan speed to 50% for Zero degree C, 60% for 20C, 70% for 40C, 100% for 60C and above - this is just a bandaid !!! So the real question is why CPU temp reading is zero. That seems like mobo, BIOS, CPU socket or CPUT issue. If I were you then remove the CPU from the socket, use a "compressed air canister" to clean the BGA socket (BGA = Ball Grid Arrray) of the CPU and reset the CPU. Now on the subject of CPU failure due to overtemperature: Typically CPU goes in a shutdown mode when it overheats (each CPU has it's own temp setting for overheat to shutdown), howwever, it doesn't seem that the CPU is heating up. I actually had a bad CPU where CPU would heat up above 30% load. It was replaced and new CPU runs great! Hope this helps!
  18. That's encouraging !! However, I noticed that Klipsch logo is NOT on the top and I don't like it! Why would one need to keep fiddling with things which are good to begin with Change and improvements are welcome, but not like this... Or probably, I'm too old and like Klipsch in a specific way only
  19. I'd came up with a technical explanation - white paper explaining, the relationship between efficiency and power... pershaps, I should dig it up and post it for fellow Klipschers.
  20. That's an interesting piece of artwork with electronic components...
  21. Welcome to the Klipsch World ! Just like the Top Notch Klipsch Speakers, we've Top Notch Klipsch Froum Community (members) !! Enjoy the Klipsches and Klipschers !!!

    New PC results

iTunes takes care of duplicates (as long as they are really copies in multiple folders) by giving you a choice to merge. There might be like software to provide similar functionality. This is only good if you know all multiple copies have same name and they are equal in quality.
