  1. Can you make stain stick to plastic and metal? More like a paint...
  2. I'm guessing Maple wasn't probably a big seller in the first place, which is why they dropped it. However, there is probably a segment of people who wanted direct rear surrounds to match their RF-7s they had bought in Maple...so for a short time, the RB-75s were available in that finish.
  3. Maple is the RAREST of all the finishes I've seen. Far more Black and Cherry. I've only seen pictures of maple ones twice. This time included. Klipsch didn't even mention the finish on their site as one that was available. Makes me wonder what other finishes are out there? Oak and Mahogany would be interesting.
  4. They are long gone... Sorry.
  5. Its a nice finish...but the way Klipsch fans buy speakers, I can't see them going over 1000.
  6. Hopefully it can recreate the infamous brown note.
  7. I'm currently using this: http://www.amazon.com/Furman-M-8X2-Outlet-Conditioner-Protector/dp/B003BQ91Y6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1454512546&sr=8-1&keywords=furman Works well for almost all noise, except for the noise from my furnace igniter. I've just been shutting off the furnace when listening to my tube equipment.

    Sold

I would consider a cash offer... But honestly, would rather trade for what I need. Shoot me an offer and maybe we can work out a deal. Thanks!
  9. I hear these are worth like 800 bucks...
  10. Does anyone have any Beyma Cp25 tweeters laying around collecting dust? I am looking for three of them. I'll probably end up buying new, but was thinking if someone had any, I'd help them out before going to somewhere else. Thanks!
  11. Really? Cause all I saw was pictures? Either way...sources of both horns are out there. I couldn't make 402s work in my space.
  12. So whos going to bite the bullet, buy a whole set, and then get "clumsy" and require several new horns?
  13. So your horns didn't come with brackets? Interesting, as I don't think there is a separate part number for the brackets. Could be wrong though.
  14. So we need to figure out a few things as a group. Obviously, there is quite the demand for the 510 & 402 horns. How is it there isn't an aftermarket here? 3D printers are to the point where a 510 horn would be quite possible. 402's would obviously need a whole next level of 3D printing equipment. You would think with the 510 horn that we would be able to get an aftermarket equivalent made. I'll bet we would even have a member willing to loan one out to someone to take measures and such.
  15. First person to mention Spencer in this post was a fool. He would likely have his order had he not mentioned anything. Think Klipsch wondered why suddenly Spencer wanted 6 402 horns?
  16. What does he go by on Facebook? I would love to follow him... You can PM it to me if you don't want to post it here. Thanks!
  17. Someone really scored. Any heritage with Walnut and cane is a good find.
  18. Planning on doing exactly that. The Elip 400s are currently just sitting on top of my DIY bass bins. I designed it that way. The horn is right at 40" off the floor.
  19. Wow that sucks. I love Dave's horns and have owned at least 8 or 9 of them now. (Extra one for my center channel. )
  20. I think I'm probably going to go down the Tweeter 3 way route. However, my source was going to get me 3 510 horns and bases for around 200 bucks. If that offer still stands, I might just do it and run some experiments.
  21. Maybe we could talk Dave into creating a 510 designed horn out of wood. I think if the results were similar there would be quite a market for them. As for my issue, it would probably just be better for me to go three way and crossover at 6000hz. I have this setup upstairs with the Elip 400s attached to my BMS drivers. They are crossed at 5800 and sound FANTASTIC.
