  1. Not to be a you-know-what, but earbuds are typically referred to as the ones that sit in your ears while in-ear headphones actually go in your ear... Don't trust me? The Audiophiliac from CNET: http://www.cnet.com/news/everything-you-know-about-earbuds-is-wrong/ Haha, what the hell is happening to this thread. This guy just said the same thing twice, as if he wasn't repeating the same thing twice, lol. "Earbuds - *Sit* in your ear", "Headphones - *go* in your ear". Wait, so unless there is a difference between sit and go, as they're used, here - you just said the same thing. What am I missing? I'm throwing in the towel on this one. Haha.
  2. Meh, I'd say they're headphones by common definition. Earbuds are a type of headphone. Much like an on-ear, over-the ear, and open-ear are also all simply types of headphones. Lest we sharpen the knife enough to re-split the hair.
  3. Oh hey, two pics are the same and one is sideways! Well no worse than what I couldn't do I suppose Lol
  4. Amazon sells this for $1950. and that is the cheapest I've found it. Most retailers still sell it for around 2100-2200.–----------------- SOLD (7/5) Pickup is highly preferred: Oak Park, MI, 48237 I have owned this receiver for a month now and have only turned it on once. Condition is 9/10, I can't find any scratches at all on it, but it's got a fingerprint smudge here and there in the pics and a super faint square line from a sticker which I managed to photograph. It worked great when I powered it up and everything functioned as it should, calibration mic has not been used and is new in the package, as is the remote. Purchased from Amazon I am just beyond the return date. Alas, I am selling it. Why? Fear of basement flooding. My neighborhood and 30,000 homes around me were affected by flooding last year which on average delivered 20-50" of rain to everyone's basement. Everyone. Well, everyone but my block and a select few other blocks in the area. But no more than a few hundred homes were spared. I've decided to remove and sell off the equipment from my basement home theater. Not worth the risk as my homeowners wouldn't even come close to the loss. So coming soon to a Klipsch forum near you: Multitudes of Reference Speakers, Gear and other miscellany that I'd rather not see destroyed and don't have a good place (other than my basement!!) to store. To start though, this beauty that I just picked up. This receiver does it all. Here are some of the features: - Dolby Atmos 11.2 - This will allow you to run a full 7.2, plus add 4 more speakers to utilize the latest in Dolby technology, Atmos. - 135 watts per channel - 4k @60 frames per second - 3D - HDMI 2.0 - HDCP 2.2 - AccuEQ w/mic **Onkyo states they prefer this over Audyssey, it will be in all future flagship receivers** - Balanced XLR Pre-Outs - 32Bit Burr-Brown Digital to Analog Converters - Built in Wifi - Built in Bluetooth - 3 HDMI Outputs for Projector, Zone 2, Etc.
  5. I'll be second I suppose. What about the tweeter?
  6. Man, you should just go all the way and get some RS-7's!
  7. If you're trying to match a set though......I'd rather have an slightly scratched mahogany speaker to match my other mahogany speakers. Rather than an perfect condition black speaker that doesn't match my mahogany speakers. Now, with that said, those two mahogany speakers didn't even match. Serial number OR shade of mahogany color.
  8. Great deal on an $400 full 5.1 setup if you ask me. eBay/Minnesota http://www.ebay.com/itm/Klipsch-RC-3-RF-5-RS-3-KSW-15-Speakers-Complete-Working-Set-/151693980521?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2351aa7369 No affiliation.
  9. Well there were only two bids, mine was the first one and I didn't get them.....
  10. This ad is from last year. Doubtful this gent is still around selling anything.
  11. Youth, can you fix my avatar pic? The Klipsch logo is supposed to flame repeatedly. It seems to only be actionable once. Thoughts?
  12. Sell the 30's.....but only if you have to
  13. Awesome. I wanted to buy this from you to check it out. Shipping was out of the question!
  14. Probably wide fronts. Yeah, that's what it looks like to me.
  15. Very well written review, thanks for the info. I've never heard the Palladium sub but I do really enjoy its appearance.
  16. That work around should work for your Dishnetwork stuff too.
  17. Oh, right. I forgot about that. So here's the work around - Go from VHS straight to your TV. Then TV out to DVD recorder.
