Yes, it would be thru the receiver's setting. If you still have the manual it is on page 98 95 or thru the Denon web site via pdf.

Check the trim levels for each speaker. It should read anywhere between -12 to +12 The auto calibration can set these lower than you are use to.Bump each one up the same amount to compensate for a lower setting on your volume control.

There's several choices at BB under 100.00 Options vary but most are network compatible. Link

I would definitely agree with this. Though $600.00 for twin RW-12d's is a killer deal, and really hard to pass up if you are subless, a better quality sub will do wonders for your system. Bill I know these subs leave a lot to be desired but since the addition of xt32 they are really sounding quite good. (I actually got 2 new for 300.00 total) My biggest challenge is the half wall directly behind the sofa. If I could just add a couple of rb's far enough back I would call it a day with 7.2 Maybe a couple of side surrounds would work but was just curios as to what benefits front wides / front heights would add to the movie experience...

Hey folks, I'm contemplating adding front wide and front heights to take advantage of the Audyssey DSX feature. Hoping that anyone with this may chime in with their opinions. Obviously I would have to add an additional amp and speakers. I would get another XPA-5 but unsure which speakers would be the best match to blend with my current set up if I go this route. Maybe I would be better off to just go 7.2? Thanks in advance for any thoughts or suggestions........

I think you are way ahead of yourself. You may find that house with the dream theater room but have to sacrifice with a smaller living room or just the opposite. IMO, I'd wait until I find the house and pick my system accordingly. Of course if you are building that changes everything..... just my .02 fwiw []

I bought a half dozen of these when I bought my pre/pro. They have been great so far. Keep in mind that they are directional and need to be connected properly. They do come labeled with source / output.

I believe the technical term for this is called old age [] Have you re ran the YPAO recently? It may have re set the speaker trim levels lower than they were previously set at. When I run my Audyssey, it sets all speakers at -12 and I adjust up a few db on each.
