  1. I don't see any pictures or attachment.
  2. That is a great price I don't use any AVR equipment, so I can't say. The 301 are ready to be bi-amped. There is a jumper wire inside that needs to be cut or removed. No need to fabricate anything.
  3. These are Gil's Belle. I love the wood and I'm sure that the picture doesn't do them justice. If I didn't already have a pair, these would be mine.

  6. Hope that I don't offend anyone, it's only a joke. Three lawyers and three engineers are traveling by train to a conference. At the station, each of the three lawyers buys a ticket while the three engineers buy only one ticket. "How can the three of you travel on one ticket?" asks a lawyer. "Watch and you'll see," answers an engineer. Aboard the train, the lawyers take their respective seats while all three engineers cram into the restroom and squeeze the door closed behind them. When the conductor comes around collecting tickets, he knocks on the restroom door and says, "Ticket, please." The door opens a crack and a single arm emerges with a ticket in hand. The conductor takes it and moves on. The lawyers are impressed with this clever idea. On the way home from the conference, they decide to copy the engineers' technique. At the station, they buy a single ticket for their return trip. To their astonishment, the engineers don't buy a ticket at all! "How in the hell are you going to pull this off?" asks a lawyer. "Watch and you'll see," answers an engineer. They board the train. The three lawyers cram into one restroom and the three engineers cram into the other restroom. Shortly after the train departs, one of the engineers leaves his restroom and knocks on the other restroom door. "Ticket, please!"
  7. Things people that were actually said in court, word for word: Q: Trooper, when you stopped the defendant, were your red and blue lights flashing? A: Yes. Q: Did the defendant say anything when she got out of her car? A: Yes sir. Q: What did she say? A: What disco am I at? Q: How far apart were the vehicles at the time of the collision? Q: So the date of conception of the baby was August 8th? A: Yes. Q: And what were you doing at that time?
  8. Most of my arguments with my wife usually end with "Don't Say, I know what you are thinking!" Obviously, I have a wife who can read minds.... The other day I did some stupid sh!t and got hurt (just some cuts and bruises), and she started yelling at me, "What were you thinking??!??!" I give up.
  9. As you know, this forum used to be the go-to place for help. I'm not saying that there haven't been the periotic squabbles, but the tons of help from friendly people such as best practices for restoring cabinets; answering why my KLF30s were rattling; what Y does or doesn't sound best with what X; the members who worked with Klipsch to put the Pilgrimages together, and more. I bought my Belle, MCM1900, RB75, Forte, and many other speakers from fellow forum members, let alone an untold amount of money @opusk2k9 helped me spend. Hopefully, someone will see what the problem is and turn things back around.
  10. I could be wrong, but it seems that a lot of this could be avoided. Someone with 73,455 posts has created an undeserving reluctance to use a certain service, similar to guilty by association.
  11. Thanks. It wouldn't surprise me. There seem to be only a few good members still clinging here.
  12. happy to see that you still have your sense of humor.
  13. If it helps, I have plans to travel a loop from Lexington, Louisville (or Cincinnati), Indy, Chicago, St. Louis, Louisville, and then home within a week or two... still trying to get the planets to align.
  14. I know that I will regret this, but I am offering my Heresy II Walnut Oil here for sale. I have owned them since ~ 2014 and have been impressed with their looks and I have enjoyed their sound. They have the ~ 1" risers, new seals, and new Jantzen capacitors. They are missing the back labels but one can see by the veneer that they are consecutively numbered. The cabinets are in good condition and the grills look to be flawless. Prefer local pick up or if need be, they can be shipped. <edit> P.S. Because this place used to be so helpful, I am offering them here first and will list them on FBMP later. If it helps, I have plans to travel a loop from Lexington, Louisville (or Cincinnati), Indy, Chicago, St. Louis, Louisville, and then home.
  15. Why do men die before their wives? Because we want to.
  16. You did nothing wrong. There has been a troll who has crapped in countless threads and it had been tiresome for WAY too long. There is a little more to the story, but you had nothing to do with any of it. I sent you a PM earlier. Did you see it?
  17. Brandon packed 3 FR7II on that haul. I was holding a system for Brandon and we met in Cincinnati for the exchange. In the back of that car, he fit a pair of FR83, RC64, (4) RS62, RT 12D, a huge Denon receiver, and several other smaller speakers. There was no room for a hitchhiker. RIP and Happy Heavenly Birthday Brandon
  18. In 2013, I scored my first pair of KLF30. I was able to lay them flat on top of one another in the back seat of a 2004 Toyota Avalon. FF, I was able to fit a pair of Chorus II in the same car: One in the back seat, the other in the trunk...barely. 2013 I rented a minivan to haul 2 Belle, 2 Cornwall, and 2 small subs.
  19. I remember seeing one at your place. I didn't know if it was a single or a pair.
  20. Because of his destructiveness, he should have been banned a long time ago.
  21. Yeah, he has edited his post, at least once. You have been on this forum for 24 years. You've been a lot of help to many people who needed it, both in the technical field and a lot of comic relief. I sure hate that it came to this, especially since it was avoidable.
  22. Skip the 3 and go straight to the Chorus IV.
