I had a pair of Belles with AB crossovers and I could never get them to sound good,I bought a pair of ALK crossovers and that helped them,but I was not happy with them.I then saw this pair of Belles pop up on the forum and they had AB-2 crossovers and they were a 5 hour drive from me so I bought them and after sealing up the k-55m’s to stop the rattles and then replaced the tweeters(they were bad) with DE-120’s the sound was very nice,I then hooked up the SX-3700 and was shocked.

I have been playing with different amps, preamps and Int amps with the Klipsch Belles I bought and I really liked the sound I was getting with different combos.Yesterday I thought I would hookup a Pioneer SX-3700 receiver that I have had for years and I was shocked at how well it sounds with the Belles,smooth top end with deep bass and just an all over great sound.

I have had a couple of transactions with David and both times items were as described .I would gladly deal with him again.

I have friends that do and they really like their flavors and the great prices

Don, give some feedback on the sound of the amp,how quiet it is between tracks any tubes noises and how the pair sounds together.I have been thinking about trying Primaluna and would like to know what other members think.

No need, I already have 3 Lascala II’s I bought from Rich and I am only using 2 of those,I still have the 3rd Lascala II wrapped in moving blankets .I never plan on selling these and if we move to a home with a big enough room I will use Klipschorns for front left and right 1 Lascalla for a center and the other 2 as rears and could use the 2 Belles I just bought for sides.Then I would need a pair of Klipschorns in black.

I have a pair of slant leg Heresy speakers and I would like to know if they are Series 1 or 2’s, the serial numbers are 132x290 and 132x289 .No labels on the backs

I am the guy that bought the ribbon mahogany Klipschorns,but I never plan on using them in a system that would require a center channel.

The speakers turned out nice and sound great now and I have played them with a kpt-484 subwoofer and they both work great together,the tops had major scratches on them and the previous owner had glass tops made for them that helped hide the scratches but you could still see them.So I painted the bottom of the glass and after they dried the tops now look great.Below is a picture of how they turned out,plus I met a great guy that is just as passionate about Klipsch speakers as most on this forum.

I have been working on the pair of Belles I bought off this site ,I had to seal k-55m’s and I replaced the tweeters with DE-120-8 with fastrac horns and while I was doing this I noticed the horns have a coating on them.My question is did Klipsch ever do this to the horns .The DE-120-8 tweeters really smooth out the top end.

I have a salt water pool, I guess I need to look into changing the filter.

I have everything running like it should now, I replaced the pump motor because the old one was locked up and I tried everything to get it to spin.I had to prime the new pump and then I had too much pressure and that caused low water flow,I then replaced all seals on the pump and sand filter and that fixed that problem.I now need to order a light for the pool,we have color light that changes color and it is now out.

Amen to that, I have been working around the pool all day,I had to pressure wash the concrete around the pool and then while I had the pressure washer out my wife thought it would be great to clean the driveway ,front sidewalk,windows and gutters.I was planning on working on a pair of Belle speakers I bought,too tired.I warmed up my tube amp and plan out doing some serious listening,that is if I don’t fall asleep.

No they are just risers that the previous owner had made for the speakers and he let them go with the speakers when he sold them to me.
