  1. Try checking the connections, loosen and retighten all the screws on crossover.Also check all wires going to reciever to.Rick
  2. Bob has been great to me i have bought some things from him and they were all packed well and worked perfect.He has helped me to without any complaints something he didnt have to do .In fact i just ordered some cast woofers to try ,so i soon will be getting them i bet.Thanks again Bob ...Rick

I had sony reciever my first at 16 years old and it broke down after about 2 years paid to have it fixed broke again soon after.Bought big ole Yammy reciever still going and now use the little HK430 everyday best reciever i ever bought so far.I cant imagine how good the HK430 was when new im sure its not as good now after 30 years.Rick
  5. I use HK430 reciever with a whole 24 watts per channel.Puts my big Yammy reciever with 80 watts to shame i think and the HK only cost 85 bucks lol.Rick
  6. Hey maybe Klipsch could talk to Maxell and make a new poster with a LaScalla II in front of the chair now that would be cool huh. Maybe at an angle so you can see inside the Scala to.Rick
  7. Its not 1/4 round... it is Base shoe moulding,,,,,works perfect i made some new frames and got new grills with cloth from Klipsch with badges on them already.Not sure it you can still get the old type grills just call and ask.Rick
  8. I got mine thursday we should all send thank you e- mail to susan i did .I will only buy Maxell CD-Rs now..lol....Klipsch and Maxell are companies that go the extra mile for customers.
  9. I got my e-mail today ,cool i cant wait to get poster.I just bought Maxell CD-R pack today just because they seem like a good company, I think we should all buy some Maxell stuff to.Maybe send Klipsch poster to Susan S. for helping us im sure she didnt have to do this for us.Rick

I would get some BLO and some 400 grit sand paper and pour the BLO on the sand paper and speaker then sand it.Im sure it will take out the stain and scratches as well oil your finish then just dry with clean towel.Do not keep BLO soaked rags in the house though.I used this method on my reveneered Ks to smooth the grain out and that veneer was alot thinner than the stock veneer on your Cornwalls.Rick

Ok guys i got it going,,,,i cooled off and went back out today and went through all the checks again,,,,ignition switch tested bad today,,,not sure why i thought it was ok before but good thing to recheck everything again just to make sure in everything you do i guess.I rigged a jumper wire on switch its going and i got my truck back and everything is cool now.Thanks for your help ,i guess Amy can delete thie post now . Dont overlook the obvious in everything huh...same for speakers as cars i guess.Rick

Thanks for the help guys,,,and yes it seems to sneak through the startig circut ok and i did check all wires i could find.Ignition switch tested good...still no dash lights at all in run position it was running fine up to this point you would think something this obvious would be easy to figure out.Sorry for off topic in the forum but i thought more brain power would be good.Its my sons only car he is using mine so i was wanting to fix it ,may have to take it to shop.Thanks again Rick

Yea it is wierd i can make it run with starter engaged but as soon as you let go of key no spark....i had timming light hooked to it so i know what is going on i just cant figure out why.Also there are no dash lights at all in run position like there should be so thats why i thought it was a relay and checked the main relay.Thanks again for any help Rick
  15. My son has 1988 crx and it has spark in the start position but no spark in the run position.I checked the ign. switch and it feeds power to fuse block.I checked main relay and all fuses so any ideas would be helpfull.Thanks Rick

  17. If you buy the gills from Klipsch you need to make the frame out of base shoe moulding,,,,not 1/4 round, it wont work.Rick
  18. Maybe you guys can help me i just got a used CRV but the hood and roof have this haze on them.I waxed went away for a day but it came back??What should i do to get rid of this haze the paint looks good.Thanks Rick

Make sure you seal them into corner with pipe foam or the rubber seal that may or may not be on them.Then contact BEC here about refreshing the caps and check to make sure all drivers work.As for the power i would recomend a HK430 reciever to start with but almost any good one will work.Take some pics so we can drool over your free K-Horns to...lol.Rick
  21. On second thought it sounds like the ant. wire came loose and now your not getting station or the mute switch and knob on back are dirty.Rick
  22. Sounds like its a dirty mono switch or a speaker selector switch.Have you done a cleanning of the controls and checked all fuses?Rick
  23. Has anyone else done this mod?Looks easy enough to do i would like to do this if its worth the effort i am kinda worried about putting screw holes in my motor board, i guess i could fill them up if i didnt like the mod.Rick
  24. Do the newer and brand new ones use the removable motor board my, 74s have the board.Should all of us who have the removable motor board think about removing it and screw woofer directly???I also think everyone should do air tightness test of woofer air chamber its not hard to test>Rick
