  1. It sounds like your mind is already made up, but at least put a rug down.
  2. There are a lot of musical instrument collectors. The owner of the Indianapolis Colts Jim Irsay has one of the largest collections, it's worth over 1 billion, probably his most prized piece is Ringo's original drum kit. He paid $4m for David Gilmour's black Strat.
  3. After the first 10 joints, would he even get high smoking that much? Don't you have to come down to get high again? Asking for a friend!
  4. Welcome Jonah....very nice setup, I'll bet that sounds excellent. Beautiful dog.
  5. I never understood when people take photos for items for sale and can't even clean up the area in the photo. Same as the ad that says "one small malfunction, but it's only a $50 fix"....if it's so small of a fix, why doesn't he fix it? Give him another day or two, and he'll knock another $2500 off.
  6. What do you think they are worth? Check them out and make an offer. He already knows that you know what you're talking about.
  7. Awesome photo.....41 individual speakers in that pic, and that's not including any subs.
  8. I hear you. I have a pair of pristine Merlot P17b sitting in an unused bedroom upstairs waiting for me to update my home theater gear 😁
  9. That's ok, I'm not interested, just following along. It always amazes me when people have older speakers that have never been opened. I can get a new pair of RF7llls for way less than these😁
  10. I recently moved to Texas, and I still find myself talking about sleds down here. It's all the cool little stops along the trails that you remember....Pine Lake Lodge has the best burger I've ever had. The Great Northern has awesome brats, their lobby is full of stuffed animals. And all the people up there are so friendly. Everything is so clean, no scumbags, gang bangers, conmen, just great people. There's a place we have been staying at for 40 years in Mercer Wisconsin. The owner will leave for bed around midnight, about 6-8 of us will stay in the bar. She says write down what you had, here's the keys, pay me later! Now that's service.
  11. That's awesome. I raced motorcycles on paved road courses. Still have my license. I have a theory.... -jet skis are cool -quads and dirt bikes are excellent -street bikes are exhilarating -racing a motorcycle is a huge thrill -BUT NOTHING IS AS MUCH FUN AS A SNOWMOBILE! I've never been to Mn....but Wisconsin has 25,000 miles of snowmobile trails. I'll bet Mn is similar. You can ride trails all the way to Alaska.
  12. Thanks.....I may never leave! Are you close to any snowmobile trails? I've spent a lot of vacation time in Michigan's UP and northern Wisconsin on snowmobile trips. It's so nice, clean, and remote in certain areas up that that's perfect for sleds. I'm in south Texas now, but I will miss the winters and snow.
  13. $150 for an hours work on a pretty intense project is a deal. Bike shops charge that per hour to work on your bike.
  14. I was at the HQ a few years ago. And I was at the loading dock on the back side of the building. There's was a room there that was full of gear, there was a pair of multi colored painted RF7s, a P39, outdoor sub the size of a 55 gallon barrel, lots of odds and ends. I asked my buddy what was all of this? He said if nobody grabs this extra stuff, it goes into the dumpster. I wish I could've backed my truck up to it and load stuff up.
  15. That's a good buy on a nice piece of gear.
  16. Exactly, not 1 cent from me until those speakers are up and singing.
  17. They could be covered in mold, mouse infestation, veneer coming off. But I guess the allure is that they're unopened. They're only 20 miles from the Klipsch HQ.
  18. The P17s and the P27c are the hardest to locate for sale. Good luck.
  19. They do have an excellent price, that's a deal. Somebody could live in Texas and still have to drive 1000 miles to get them.
