  1. @formanjasked me about the door slabs I use for my 36" deep free-standing K-horn corners. PWK recommended 48" deep corners. Many factors about the environment will affect the requirements, such as proximity to walls, etc.

My K-horns are not my primary speakers and so, are oddly placed along the middle of the side walls of the room, but they sound better than most other speakers I have heard over the years. Because they are not near any real corners, I added "wings" to guide the powerful bass response towards the listening area. The bass is better now than when they were in the real corners of the room.

let me know if you’re actually able to view the video

The link you posted does not connect with your pictures, when I just tried.

All the digital cameras and/or phone cameras I have used have an edit menu which allows easy picture re-sizing. Or if I send a picture to my laptop, I just right click on the picture to edit and re-size down to 500 x 360 pixels for a 100kb (forum friendly) file size.

  3. The cabinets appear to be well made. I never met W.C. but, do recall reading his interesting posts back then. I presume by the estate sale that he has passed away. May he Rest in Peace.

I don't know the facts, that is why I said "maybe".

I do see that the estate sale has several tube amps as well.

How does she run? What kind of music do you listen to. Did you wrap those yourself? Also what inch woofer are the subs? Sorry for all the questions lol

    Questions are fine. Here is some background. Bi-Amped K-Horn + K-402 horns w/ KPT-415 woofers - Page 38 - 2-Channel Home Audio - The Klipsch Audio Community

Some of the answers change over time, as I discover new things and think of different ideas.

Not really but I know more of the story.

    5.  1 1/2, 2 years ago, a new house was built.  This new house was built between the beginning of the road and the development.  So the new house literally, has fiber optic right in front of her door.

    6.  She's been asking them about it and she's been told NO, she can't have it.  Evidently she went so far as to call the FCC to complain.  ATT came back and put (don't know what it's called) but a small 'connection box' in her front yard BUT STILL REFUSES to connect her.

So I don't know what corn cob ATT has inserted into themselves but they are displaying the logic of how can we NOT service customers and NOT create more customers for ourselves.

Call me perplexed at their attitude.

It appears that your chances for an easy add on connection are slim.

For music, as in not earthquakes and explosions in movies, how low do you need to go?

Depends on the type of music. Occasionally I will be out and hear a familiar song played through some "small" speakers and barely recognize the music due to the absence of the lowest bass notes.

Regarding filament wiring, Is there an argument for parallel wiring ... vs. series (daisy chaining) the filaments together? I have seen both ways and pondered if series was better to minimize AC wiring lengths. Probably a matter of preference, but I'm enjoying following along and trying to learn.

I am learning also, and think you asked a good question.
