  1. ??? This makes no sense to me. I'm not looking for an argument, nor to be shown the "errors of my thinking" but I am shaking my head in wonderment at that school's administration. Got my first Pfizer shot on Friday. It knocked me out all weekend with body aches, mild fever, and a headache. Today, Tuesday morning, I felt better enough to go to work. I was not expecting such a severe impact simply because others on my team got the Pfizer and had little to no reaction. Just goes to show that each and all is different. 2. VPI entry level tt with an Ortofon Red (decent entry level MM cart) for $895 at Music Direct. Cart comes premounted so no fussing with locking it in. https://www.musicdirect.com/more-best-selling-analog-components/VPI-Cliffwood-Turntable?gclid=CjwKCAjwk7rmBRAaEiwAhDGhxP1T3Q6xy_nvbV3DmEU_7b1wHpVuuIvYC5zyLm94T2CTpX_LD1YrvxoCbBMQAvD_BwE
  3. Nice...been wanting a pair of Monoblocs. This might be the project for me. Best regards-Geoff. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  4. This post inspired me. I just swapped out those facacta terminal strip input on my CWIIs for a nice set of Cardas 5 ways. Why didn't I do this years ago? Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  5. Hey Forum, I was trawling thru audio sites on the internets today and I came across this on cnet: https://www.cnet.com/deals/2-klipsch-heritage-heresy-iii-loudspeakers-for-1099-free-shipping-2091472/ Looks like a decent deal on new Heresy' s to me. I'm in no way affiliated with the site and I'm not in the market for dropping that amount of change on another set of speakers right now, but thought I would share this here. 6. I've auditioned Wilson's as well and can say the staging and sound was stellar. I can't compare them to LS' though as I have not heard them in the same set up, but that is a pretty terrific statement [emoji4] Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  7. You got it fellas. Just sharing info with the True Believers [emoji6] Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  8. This came through in one of my news feeds and thought I would share it here. Nice article about La Scalas from Tone Publications: http://www.tonepublications.com/old-school/the-klipsch-lascala/ Enjoy the read folks. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  9. I purchased mine second hand, so about a week...lol. In all seriousness, I really love the amp. That coupled with the Decware ZP3 phono stage are really great. I'm a fairly long time lurker on the Decware site, and I'm really surprised by the lack of reference to Heritage line Klipsch models. To my ears this combo of the low wattage Decware and the super efficient Klipsch speakers are a match made in heaven. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  10. Oh boy. You are in for a treat. I run my SE34i.4 thru a pair of 1984 Cornwalls. I love it. A lot of Decware fans like to run through single driver full range speakers but I happen to like my setup through the horns, not to mention the bass response of the Cornies. A sub is almost not necessary. Which model Decware did you get and what do you mostly play, vinyl or digital? Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  11. I currently have the Marantz TT-15S1 (Mfg by ClearAudio). It's a damn fine table, IMO. However, I want to move up to a VPI. Not for any glaring limitations with the table, but just because I'm in this hobby and upgradeitis is always prevalent. If anything my main complaint with the Marantz/ClearAudio is all the variability in the tonearm and the wacky antiskate they have. The tonearm slot is not keyed, so there is a chance that the arm can be off during setup. They also have a magnetic antiskate, which is somewhat confounding. I still can't tell if it does anything. I am really sucked in by the VTA on the fly options on certain VPI tables. Since I am constantly changing between older and newer, heavier LPs it seems like that would really come in handy. One of these days.... Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  12. Yes, and its probably a cheap solid state unit with illuminated non-functioning tubes simply for show. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  13. Cheap is a relative description so it depends on your budget. I run an earlier version of this amp http://www.decware.com/newsite/SE34I.htm with my '84 Cornwalls and I love the combo. I swap other speakers in and out but always come back to my Cornies. If you call Decware up directly I think you can get XLRs added to the circuit. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  14. It really should be a Cary Amp: http://www.enjoythemusic.com/CES_2017/Press_Center/Cary_Audio_Klipsch_MQA.htm Sent from my XT1094 using Tapatalk
